NEW PEOPLE: DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS MOD. I'm only keeping it up for sentimental reasons, everyone likes their first mod. This mod features UNMIRRORABLE custom shapes (ouch) and a blockset of Heptagons (OUCH). Well, Gymnosperms will be the remake of this mod, with much more high quality stuff, so stay tuned

my game breaks when i try to steal a blueprint from the stationary things

whats the big red capital ship? I want it.
Debris Field  [author] 28 Feb, 2018 @ 7:42am
And now the pollen count has been reduced.
Debris Field  [author] 4 Feb, 2018 @ 8:44am
And It is done... now there are about 6 ships max per sector, and the asteroids are larger, making for a few less plants per sector.
z0mbiesrock 4 Feb, 2018 @ 8:22am
Max 10 per sector at best.
Debris Field  [author] 4 Feb, 2018 @ 8:19am
Yup... There are quite a lot of ships per sector... I should probably change that :P

My computer runs out of memory and BSODs whenever I play the game with this mod.

I may know my way around File Explorer, but I don't really want to break anything. By the way, some of my potential toughest factions to get through are the hard-hitting tanks from the Cold Fusion Gods, the Knights of the Broken Star, the teleporting and laser-using but fragile Voidcallers, the hard-hitting but red hull EAF, the hard-hitting energy drainers of ObeliskCorp, the modular Scientists, the tanky shields, though firepower-lacking Redemptes, the Missing Faction which I used to use as an unlocker, the strong Ayerahn (Metal Faction), the lightweight missile-loving Aer (Winds of a Faction), and more.

~continuing from last comment~ Added these blocks to any ships yet. Make a ship with the unused blocks, select it, and type in "export "NAME OF SHIP" AUTHORNAME" to the command line. It will be sent to the desktop as a .lua file. Put this in the "ships" folder of the local mod and rename it to "545454_NAME_OF_SHIP". Start up Reassembly and make a new save, and you should be able to use all blocks you added to the ship. Keep in mind that the squares and triangles are a bit unbalanced for the faction.
Debris Field  [author] 13 Jan, 2018 @ 9:17am
And the character limit has beed reached. Great.

To add squares, triangles, and other things that I don't like to the mod: For windows, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\329130, and COPY the folder called 1255302219 (Check the preview.png to be sure it's Pinaceae) to C:\Users\YOUR NAME\Saved Games\Reassembly\mods. Rename the folder to "Pinaceae" or someting else. Then open Reassembly and disable the Pinaceae mod that doesn't have a "publish" button, and you will have the Local Version of the mod (This may mess with your saves of this mod). Restart Reassembly, then go into the sandbox. Press three, double click somewhere away from the text, and type "palette 545454" in the command line. This should show the palette of the Pinaceae, and you will notice that there are a few blocks that arent in the campaign. This is because I haven't

I designed the boson units to be exactly that, and most of this faction's stregnth comes in numbers. And this mod was created to be vanilla balanced, not rediculouly overpowered like some of the modded factions I see around. See the thing I added to the discription to see how to add squares and stuff.
Avi8 12 Jan, 2018 @ 6:36pm
Ok. By the way, I don't really like how the boson things are literally mine cannons. It's also a bit hard to build with this faction, and they don't put out that much damage, nor can they take a huge amount either. It's especially difficult to fight other modded factions.
Debris Field  [author] 12 Jan, 2018 @ 6:09pm
A Laser has been added to the faction palette! Tell me if you think it needs changes.
Avi8 8 Jan, 2018 @ 10:20am
Perhaps a laser-type weapon. I'd call it the Solar Burner.
Debris Field  [author] 6 Jan, 2018 @ 11:47pm
And of course, while you are still here, what would you like to see be added to the mod?
Debris Field  [author] 6 Jan, 2018 @ 11:32pm
A painful death, if you ask me
Debris Field  [author] 6 Jan, 2018 @ 11:31pm
Probably, to take out the electrons surrounding the atom and ionize the enemy.
Avi8 6 Jan, 2018 @ 9:15pm
I'm sure positrons would work well though.
Avi8 6 Jan, 2018 @ 9:14pm
Why can't they?
Avi8 6 Jan, 2018 @ 9:14pm
I know.
Debris Field  [author] 6 Jan, 2018 @ 7:07pm
Since gluons keep protons and stuff together, why can't they take stuff apart? :)
Debris Field  [author] 6 Jan, 2018 @ 7:06pm
Oh wait... gluons don't have an antiparticle. I guess I need to brush up on my particle physics...
Avi8 6 Jan, 2018 @ 6:36pm
I wonder what antiparticles. Anti-protons? Positrons? Perhaps anti-neutrons?
Debris Field  [author] 6 Jan, 2018 @ 5:48pm
Thanks! I have taught myself quite a bit about conifers and their relatives, and I just wanted to dump this information somewhere. And for bosons, I'd say the gluon's ("glues" quarks together to form neutrons and protons) antiparticle would be a good projectile.
Anything else you would like to see?
Avi8 6 Jan, 2018 @ 9:21am
By the way, the only other mod I know that has square thrusters is the Cold Fusion Gods modded faction.
Avi8 6 Jan, 2018 @ 9:16am
Your lore is great! I like science a lot, and the lore has a lot of science! Awesome lore! I wonder what bosons the plants shot. Maybe photons (light particles), or perhaps something else.
Krug Herder 4 Jan, 2018 @ 1:00am
Points for sciencing the sh+t put of that.
