Yep! Sorry for that, I meant Xtended ofcourse!
Nutzzz  [author] 27 Oct, 2016 @ 10:16pm
@Akinaba: Do you mean R.E.D. Xtended?
Jabber 27 Oct, 2016 @ 10:02am
Can you make it compatible with R.E.D. Xtreme, or at least so it could be activated alongside with it.
iNol 26 Jul, 2016 @ 6:52am
I see. I'll try it when the new version comes out.
Nutzzz  [author] 25 Jul, 2016 @ 7:05pm
@iNol: Ah, sorry I wasn't clear. This will always support R.E.D., but it is intended to be fully independent for those not using it. Because of the way I changed R.E.D., all of the scaling mods should be easier to keep in sync, so new releases of each version should come at nearly the same time in the future...
iNol 25 Jul, 2016 @ 1:24pm
Hopefully in futures this scaling mod can function flawlessly without the RED modpack, because RED makes my game lagging (potato pc) xD This scaling is somewhat the best imo, compared to RED, single graphic unit, and default scaling.
Nutzzz  [author] 23 Jul, 2016 @ 2:11pm
@iNol: Sorry about that. I'm working on an update to R.E.D., and the other various scaling mods. Hopefully, I'll be releasing it soon. If you want it sooner rather than later though, I'd watch the R.E.D. Modpack [forums.civfanatics.com] thread on CivFanatics for the upcoming beta version.

This is actually very neat. Btw I found a little bug maybe, when this mod is used without RED modpack, the "Infantry" unit (the one with 70 strength) still has so many units (more than 10) in one squad. I think it was not suppose to be like that. When used together with RED modpack, the same infantry squad becomes only 3 soldiers in one squad (normal).

@I.de.waal: Click the Subscribe button above. If you're having problems with Steam, you can download it from the bottom of this post [forums.civfanatics.com] on the CivFanatics website, and unzip it to your mods folder manually.

If you're wondering why saves and/or in-game turns are crashing, it's because the Workshop is having some issues, and updates are having some bugs and/or glitches within those updates.
Oatmeal 30 Aug, 2014 @ 2:02am
how to download it ?
Nutzzz  [author] 13 Aug, 2014 @ 2:42pm
bane_: Simple. Not enough upvotes. Anyway, thanks for the (implied) kudos.

I have no idea how I didn't know about this sooner.
Nutzzz  [author] 22 Feb, 2014 @ 12:16pm
This mod shouldn't be able to cause crashes. What other mods are you using?
Jay 22 Feb, 2014 @ 3:32am
there might be some other unit bugs. my game crashed around the time when Portugal was taking its turn. I couldn't figure it out though because it's an AI player.
Nutzzz  [author] 21 Feb, 2014 @ 4:26pm
Jay: Thanks for the report. It's been fixed.
Jay 21 Feb, 2014 @ 8:49am
there is a bug. the great merchant unit is not showing up when it is on land. but it shows when it is embarked. then if you disembark again and goes on land, the game crashes. is it possible that this was because of the new merchant of venice unit?

Awesome

thanks

Sorry that I haven't made time to play with this and make sure it works, but if anyone would like to volunteer to be a beta tester, you can use IGE and test out all the units with the latest build (v9 beta) that can be downloaded from CivFanatics [forums.civfanatics.com].
ShmooDude 5 Jan, 2014 @ 10:51am
Any plans for an update? I far prefer this one over single unit.
Nutzzz  [author] 12 Nov, 2013 @ 7:08am
Sorry, I couldn't get time to work on it, but I'll try to do it soon!
ppgal97 11 Nov, 2013 @ 12:38pm
Thanks
Nutzzz  [author] 10 Nov, 2013 @ 1:28pm
No, I never did finish updating this one. I'll see if I can get it done this weekend.
ppgal97 9 Nov, 2013 @ 8:09pm
Hey is there a update for brave new world, via civ fanatic forum????
Nutzzz  [author] 14 Jul, 2013 @ 9:38am
It will work, but some of the new units won't be resized until I put out the next version.
strigvir 13 Jul, 2013 @ 4:21pm
Will it work with BNW?
Βηc|Thrallzuma 3 Jul, 2013 @ 2:19pm
Alright, thanks for the respond and keep up the good work.
Nutzzz  [author] 3 Jul, 2013 @ 12:25pm
R.E.D. Modpack is not required, but my scaling mods are designed to work alongside it. I haven't spent any time on Ethnic Units compatibility. BrutalSamurai22 followed Gedemon's naming scheme, so it will work to some degree, but there are likely to be a few odd units.

The other listed mods are alternative scaling mods, so there shouldn't be any need to have them activated at the same time. The disclaimer is there to remind someone to check whether another is enabled when the game refuses to allow this to be activated at the same time.
Βηc|Thrallzuma 3 Jul, 2013 @ 8:21am
question, so i can activate it with the red modpack and ethnic units but not with those youve listed right?
nathanjr52 22 May, 2013 @ 1:51pm
thanks

Clearing the cache was what I did in order to retrigger the mod downloads. :D

I will try other stuff from the troubleshooting checklist, thanks! :)
Nutzzz  [author] 21 Apr, 2013 @ 11:15pm
@mitm, I'm glad you like it!

Unfortunately, the disappearing mods has been an off-and-on issue for a very long time, and can cause these kinds of hiccups. I'm thinking if you clear your cache, it should do the trick. Just delete your "C:\<username>\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache" folder.

Here's a checklist for general mod troubleshooting [forums.civfanatics.com] if that doesn't do the trick.

Hi!

I love this mod and have been using it for a while (can't play without it any longer).

However, I have an issue as of today.
I should start with the fact that yesterday I had lost all mod subscriptions (no longer showed up in game or in Steam/Workshop). Now it looks like they're back and have re-downloaded all mods successfully.

The problem is that this "Reduced Unit Graphics" mod no longer works with "R.E.D. Modpack".
It works fine on its own, but as soon as I also activate R.E.D. (v25), I get the big formations with small units of R.E.D., instead of yours.

Any idea what I can do to solve this (I really want to use both mods in conjunction).

Thanks!
mitm

six would be great
Wehraboo Furf.ag 1 Mar, 2013 @ 5:02pm
Works for me. Haha. I like the idea of less units, and 3 is cool, definitely improves performance, however, 6 sounds excellent. :)
Nutzzz  [author] 1 Mar, 2013 @ 8:17am
Hm... 6, maybe, for the sake of maintaining a formation?
Wehraboo Furf.ag 1 Mar, 2013 @ 7:22am
This mod is very cool. Think you could maybe make another formatted version for like say... 5 units?
Nutzzz  [author] 18 Feb, 2013 @ 1:48pm
Yes.
strigvir 18 Feb, 2013 @ 4:33am
Is it compatible with "Unit File Size" and unofficial patch?
Pipboy 14 Feb, 2013 @ 12:30pm
I'll prove it tonight ;)
NickoO 10 Feb, 2013 @ 7:43am
nicht fett ^^
