Found the issue, @Fenrir (and anyone else missing the Basic Extraction). The DLC adds a new technology at X -1 (first slot up from the deed), Neural Robotics. This is the same slot as the Basic Extraction is defined to be at, so they overlap and you can't access Basic Extraction. It's still *there*, you can still see a grey circle around Neural Robotics, you just can't click it. To fix it, go to <steam_root>\steamapps\workshop\content\392110\1259941624\Gui, open GuiElements.xml, and change line 6 to <TechnologyGuiElement2 Name="BasicExtraction" X="-1.5" Y="0">. That shifts the tech over half a slot so you can click it again. https://imgur.com/a/n0jgXQ0

can i please have a hardcore version, where you can produce only one of the elements(not unlock one production, but you can either produce antimatter or adamantium instead of both at the same time)

All, I really appreciate all the helpful feedback. Unfortunately this mod was developed for the base game. I cannot confirm how the mod will behave with other mods / DLC enabled. I apologize for the inconvenience, and again, really appreciate the suggestions / feedback. Cheers.

Hey thanks for the great mod! Unfortunately, the mod is bugged in my current playthrough. I'm using custom faction with ship bound affinity. The bug causes basic extraction to be missing from the technology screen. Well, the tech is there, but the improvement seems to be missing although I can clearly see "Basic Extraction" tech. FYI, Advanced and Endless extraction work just fine.

I'm just thinking, is that possible to "convert" the lower tier resource into the high tier?
Like, take 10 Titanium and convert it into 1 Adamantian. Then 10 Adamantian to 1 Oricalcix. Personally i think it is more "balance" than converting it only by industry.

there needs to be a limit to the number of systems that can use this infinite, preferably one system maximum. It's great for pumping out end-game fleets for glorious combat but completely removes the strategic depth of controlling areas of space as is.

I'm missing something obvious in the screenshots above. How/where do you unlock these on the tech tree?

Quite a usless mod. The resource extraction facitlies and tech's are fine as is quite frankly. I would hate to see this mod in use on a Multiplayer game. It would be havoc at first then for the other 80% of the game purging, purging and more purging.

"Marketplace has 12513241234 of each resource for sale at 5 dust! Oh and Oricalcix and Quadrinix are plentiful so no fighting over KEY systems anymore!" :CrowdControl:

Update published. Let me know what y'all think!
Eggnog  [ophavsmand] 11. jan. 2018 kl. 5:29
@fb.aazzoggerr OH. Wow, thanks so much! Hadn't realized that this was different from the original publish button! I really appreciate that!

Also, you're exactly right about the "unlocking" of the extraction tech. I might have to think about that. Also I realized, even if I moved it up one stage, that wouldn't fix it for affinities like the Sophons, who always can research out one stage further.
fb.aazzoggerr 11. jan. 2018 kl. 1:57
Btw, as far as I tested, unless you researched base tech and "unlocked" a resource you don't get strategics even with mod's "improvement" in queue. So what @Wastetime described is not an issue.

@samtvdh

To update a mod go to MODS then Local, seek your mod and there should be an "update" button - it reveals itself once mod is published. See this screenshot [prntscr.com]

@Wastetime @KGB2920 Thanks for the feedback! I like that, and I could pretty easily make it work that way. If I can figure out how to update a mod without publishing it all over again, I will. Thanks!

It's a good idea. Though maybe broking balance... and I think Wastetime's idea is good and making sense, cos human could't create iron when they found it xd
Wastetime(TMA) 10. jan. 2018 kl. 12:12
it's makes basic resource extracting technologies little bit worthless. maybe 1 tier higher than basic things make sense.(advanced and endless Extraction go to 4 and 5 tier or whatever?)

anyway, it's so good for end game war-of heaven things.
willyckh 7. jan. 2018 kl. 20:09
This is great! Is it possible to add luxary deposit extraction as well? :steamhappy:
Eggnog  [ophavsmand] 7. jan. 2018 kl. 10:25
@Aitarus Go for it! Thanks for asking! Mind if I ask what your mod is?
Aitarus 7. jan. 2018 kl. 8:35
I've been waiting for something like this for a while. Nice work. Would you mind if I integrated a similar functionality to this at a lower conversion rate (with full credit) into one of my mods?
Eggnog  [ophavsmand] 6. jan. 2018 kl. 17:46
@fb.aazzoggerr Wow! Thanks so much!
fb.aazzoggerr 6. jan. 2018 kl. 17:44
Absolutely love the idea. Added as recommended on my mod's description.
Eggnog  [ophavsmand] 6. jan. 2018 kl. 13:31
@lilyophelia Thanks! It's super handy in end-game warfare, especially in smaller galaxies with very few of orichalcix/quadrinix
Countess Vines 6. jan. 2018 kl. 13:20
I really like the idea of this. Very cool!
