One of the many reasons, years and years ago, I stopped playing BDO. Which if I was playing since the beginning still, I'd be at about 24,000 hours (Which that is normal for any bdo player, nothing special)? Without being online games like that equals no progress. (some idle style games have idle afk/offline and some also have active afk then active button mashing.)
If you want to see some real old stuff with immense hours? I have EverQuest 1 Characters from y2k with /played time in the years. Sounds cool but not really a flex. EQ 2 characters, WoW Characters. The games that usually aren't Idle and way more hours plus they are paid not free.
If you sift into more clicker games I have you will see when I went on a stint like years ago with quite a few for something to do on my other screens back then. I also had much more free time. These days, nope.
