The lunar monsters do spawn and are pretty cool but the ghost while killable has no animation for dying it just dissapears and when you kill it another just respawns a few seconds later/

@Alfons Yeah, that's a vanilla thing. I didn't change that afaik.

The Erchius Ghost spawns a screen's width away from the player as soon as they obtain erchius liquid or crystals.

@BeneathThePlass From when I was making this mod and digging around the files, including the Erchius ghost, I didn't see a way. I would assume you can override the Erchius Ghost's script directly, though, using the same file but a lengthened time. Best tip is just do not bring any Erchius when you first go to the moon, only get fuel, port back to the ship, and store it again before going back down.

I love the idea of this, having a little more life on the moon is great. Is there any way to lengthen the respawn of the Erchius Ghost, though? As it is, the respawn time seems to be immediate, and close enough that it's within sight almost immediately.

there are very little references in starbound relating to tentaclecomet such as tentacle sprites and a werid thing for a projectile

In one of the early versions of starbound you could spawn "Tentaclecomet" but it would appear for a split second and disappear

@Hypsellis No. But it is included in the Interstellar Wilds modpack, along with Hunting+.

@Leman The worst it can do is corrupt a generated moon if you uninstall the mod. Although, the status effect may cause it, however that's only if you have it at the same time you uninstall it - if you wait for it to expire, it won't do anything to your character.

If you DO uninstall it while you have the status effect, you can just reinstall the mod, log in to the character again (it will be accessible again), then wait for it to expire.

2. It was never called as a boss even before it was removed. It was always just tentaclecomet.

@Da scout baby! I'll keep an eye out for it - I've been wanting to bring them back too but haven't had time nor the knowledge to bring them up to par these days (They're probably easy to defeat nowadays)

It's no longer in the files. And even if I implemented it, it would probably be broken which would requie the knowledge I don't have. It was the original concept for The Ruin, so you really wouldn't be missing much.

@Trident Unfortunately no. If you can create custom drawable monsters, I could make it that way, but for now there isn't any way for me to make the Wolf or Phantom through commands. I tried making a Bobfae with the Astrofae sprite and that failed as well.

I say the Ghost should drop the Erchius block. A little incentive for huntin' em, maybe. (And besides, getting only the twenty from the Facility quest is a little disappointing.)

One old feature id personally love to see come back is the ability to add weapons to turrets.
I dled the old mod that gave birth to defense turrets (and that feature) and tried to figure out how to make it work again but... I have no idea what im doing >.>

But one way thats legal (at least i think) could be to dl some much older mods from the starbound mod site. I figure some of them have some old code lying around here and there. Or asking on the forums if someones kept full copies of the original files after updates. Idk if that would be legal either but It doesnt seem like something that would be illegal but you never know...

@SuperStashMan Yep, I still have some early access files and whatnot laying around, so I like trying to bring back a lot of the old stuff (especially if it was never implemented) and trying to blend it with new stuff. I'm hoping one day I can get some more old files so I can continue doing this when I'm able, but the only legal way I've found is using the steam console or something which I couldn't figure out.

thats cool dude hope you keep updating the mod cause its really good :) did I tell you I have "Pandoras box mod" installed and it works with your mod so I will get different colours of the poptop boss its really cool :D
