I'm asking since trying to tweak the config settings for the weapon mod Iridar made terrifies and confuses me and I have no idea how to work the weapon skin replacer, even with the instructions open.
Did I do something wrong?

Musashi hasn't updated Primary Secondaries yet. Politely asking him probably wouldn't hurt, but please don't bug him, he is quite busy!

I use this mod myself and I've never run into anything like that. So, unfortunately, I have no idea what could be causing your problem.
I will say that just because removing this mod makes the problem go away does not necessarily mean that the problem is being caused by this mod-- it could be a conflict with some other mod, or even a bug in the base game that just happens to be brought out. I can't think of anything in this mod that would do that.

I've absolutely isolated the issue down to this batch of mods. Don't know what the deal is but figured I should let you know in case it hasn't been reported before. Thanks!

By default, hero units don't get any laser or coilgun weapons because those were never made for them. However, you can use a mod that lets you equip the regular weapons on them, like this one! https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1273941136

This new version has SMG support, but all the testing I've done is verifed that, yes, SMGs do indeed show up. So the warning at the top applies double, I think.
