name the map cyber-ark or smth

This was my favorite map when I was younger, I was too weak to actually play the game, and I could never figure out how to get a hover bike, but I loved farming trash to get those super tools from the trash store, a few years ago I tried launching this map but it wouldn't work, presumably because it tries to load the "Genesis" map, which is DLC, gets confused, and denies you due to not having it. Just know that you did a good job with the map!

I just wanted to drop by and say thank you again for this map. I is my all time favorite. I hope you decide to make something fun and similar in ASA. you could make it premium and i would snatch it up in an instant. thank you again.

Creator of this map needs to change the name, it's very simple.

I did get to play this map before ARK introduced their version of Genesis and this one here is much better.

It would probably take 2 weeks just to change the map name and recook it.
Last I heard years ago he was done with it and moving on to other projects

please @Jack for the love of christ either remake this masterpiece with a different map name or finish that BADASS looking apocalypse version you teased on your twitter!!! the ark community NEEDS YOUR MAPS!!!!!!

Anyone able to play with this map? I am trying to run it as a private server, and I get the error i don't own the DLC. It's so stupid what Wildcard has done with naming it the same to disable this map. Please if anyone has a workaround to play this map?

I've been around the whole city and still can't find parts for the "Hoverbike". Can someone give me the location or more clues?

the parts are from the cave drops spread around the city. I THINK the trash is from tool harvesting the literal trash piles with couches etc. and if i remember erectly the scrap stuff can be used as resources

Where do you get the hover bike parts? And what do you do with the scrap wood, metal and cardboard? And where do you get the piles of trash..? XD

start getting it workinng and some those places found but why pink textures why its likes im missing something please someone give least comment here what dlc or mod is required its seem i have some them installed but not all them only proplem is space but that can be solved i have lots of stuff that i can delete jesus fucking christ if you have time anvser with videos then can anwser with comments too

i have all ark dlc now should be enought when i instal ark dlc and download this of course game size is riddicculus when comes to to dlc over 400 gt and even more i have almost 500 gt but off corse i been expected to buy some 2000 euros costin pc pc when 1000 euros is already enough what now games supposed to be more than 200 gt i mean wtf

It was an original map, the problem is that it´s called genesis, so the game requires you to have the dlc. I have been years trying to make the owner change this, but no result.

Didn't mention that I needed to own the official DLC to play your modded DLC? Thanks for clarifying that and wasting my time downloading it. So in reality this isn't a full map download like Earrion, SkyArk, Crystal Isles, Valguero, Ragnarok, The Center, and Lost Island... but a modified Genesis map. Thanks anyway.

This is my favorite modded map and so important to me, please keep it posted here even if you're not working on this version! I thought about it all the time when I couldn't get to work and I've been playing it nonstop now that I figured it out, the aesthetic is like no other map I've ever seen and I adore it. <3 For people looking to play, server hosting with nitrado, gportal etc cannot play this map, but it works in singleplayer and non-dedicated sessions!

A solution, btw for those that want to play this map, is to run it under "Host Non-Dedicated Session" mode. Download the map, install, click on the map and it seems to run this way. It triggers the music and shows the DLC Genesis in the maps column as a save but since I dont own the DLC yet, I know its confused. Click the other Genesis.

@Peoples Gaming and @All : Thos Genesis modded map is (was) marvelous !! I had succeeded to create with it a complete Role Play server with some new Gameplay inspired by Fallout and Judge Dredd...

Now wildcard (like others) set their rule without taking care of the right rules.

So even if I can play my server I'm fully agree with @Peoples Gaming as the have to respect the anteriority existence.

And between us, that would not be difficult to name there DLC some like Genesis_P or Genesis_DLC or even Genesys

There don't care of us, that's all !

@butterflygirl23 When Wildcard released the Genesis DLC then anytime you try to play this map it redirects you to their ads and buy page for the DLC. There is no way to bypass it so it makes this map dead. It was an incredibly unique map that I thoroughly enjoyed. I fed gachas with garbage found throughout the city, loved populating the police station with tek rexes, filling the zoo exhibits, making a travel agency with tek quetzals and letting glowpets loose to light the city up more. I took over parts of the neighborhood area and filled stores with goods and resources. I even made my own club down the street from the strip club and added a jukebox mod just to change up the tunes. I understand that as a legacy map its entitled to the name Genesis but its a real shame its broke because of it. Ill miss it greatly. It was my home in ark for a very long time.

I really did like playing this map. Its a shame wildcard broke it. A true loss. RIP

This map is called Genesis and Arks latest official is also called Genesis
But there is only one, okay perhaps two diffrences
1 This map is not devided into 5 other places where you have to use a flying robot to teleport and it is so bloody hard to access
2 This map is EPIC compared to official Genesis ;)
Also i have heard stuff, don't know , about that the map broke somehow, havn't played on it for a year now so i can't say anything :/

I don't figure what the problem is not being able to play that map.
I can run it in SP as well as on my server.
If WC implemented something to prevent users playing this mod map not owning the shitty DLC (which imo is not worth the money) affected players should post this problem on survivetheark forums. They messed up this, not Peoples Gaming. His map existed years before the crap DLC. ;)

No i won't be changing the name. This map was made 2 years prior to WC Genesis DLC, when i asked wildcard about changing the name, they told me it wouldn't break it....Well it did break it. And they won't do anything about it. So don't expect them too. Wildcard knew that this name was on this mod prior to releasing they're DLC. You guys be the judge of what's happened here. But do not ask me to change the name of something i didn't break..
