Nightrunner 11 Dec, 2016 @ 6:37pm
Will you be remaking/updating this for SE?
Aertyr  [author] 22 Jun, 2015 @ 3:58pm
This mod was made when Skyrim was released. It will likely not work with any skill overhauls.
Medantra 24 Jan, 2015 @ 11:43am
still doesn't work...
Fenwyn 26 Feb, 2014 @ 10:57am
Can't get it to work. I guess it's incompatible with the Epic Creatures mod as that mod adds in the abysmal smithing perk. Great idea, the game should function like this. Oh well.
BellaDovah 1 Dec, 2013 @ 6:34am
Do you know if it works with the mod "Enchanting Extra Effect"?
Aertyr  [author] 13 Mar, 2013 @ 5:41am
@Titanarrow, Just load it last. If you have any mods that change perks at all it wont work for them(as they will be overrided). Works with Vanilla perks only.
Tuvstarr77 12 Mar, 2013 @ 2:50pm
never got this to work :\ cool idea though.
Nox 25 Dec, 2012 @ 8:32am
Just subscribed, but havent had a chance to test yet. Do you think this mod will have a problem with Smithing-a-round? Its the same concept, but only for the smithing perk tree.
Rammundstein 20 Dec, 2012 @ 2:55pm
Okay, thanks. :)
Aertyr  [author] 20 Dec, 2012 @ 11:18am
@Rammundstein, No it should work just fine. Load the mods you want to make SURE work last just in case.
Rammundstein 20 Dec, 2012 @ 9:54am
I have helmless warrior installed, would your mod be incompatible with this?
Ramark 1 Dec, 2012 @ 9:32pm
I'm so conflicted with this mod. I play a Daedric-weapon-using light armour nightblade and need this so my magic and archery can be fleshed, but this also sucker punches the hard decision making of choosing your perks wisely - especially in the later levels.
Aertyr  [author] 29 Nov, 2012 @ 12:57pm
@Mitch-a-Mitosis, I re-introduced an old bug that I am now fixing. I'll have an update for you by the end of the day.
Monsieur Lapin 17 Nov, 2012 @ 9:35pm
Ok, cheers.
Aertyr  [author] 17 Nov, 2012 @ 6:29pm
@Mitch-a-Mitosis, It does not but last I checked it doesn't need to since there are no "looping" perks.
Monsieur Lapin 17 Nov, 2012 @ 5:42pm
Awesome, thanks! But one morething, does this work with the vampire lord perk tree for Dawnguard?
Aertyr  [author] 17 Nov, 2012 @ 7:51am
@Mitch-a-Mitosis 1) After all mods that affect perks. 2) Yes 3) No,Note: Some people have been having issues since 1.8 though I see no reason why it would not work.
Monsieur Lapin 16 Nov, 2012 @ 3:40am
Does it matter what 'load order' this mod is in? Also, will it work on previous save files, or do I have to stat a new game for them to take effect?
Savis 15 Nov, 2012 @ 1:19am
can you remove perks?
IceCreamBandit 1 Nov, 2012 @ 10:12pm
Thanks Aertyr, sorry for bothering you haha.
Aertyr  [author] 1 Nov, 2012 @ 10:03pm
@PedjaSuperman, This may be related to the recent 1.8 patch. A LOT of mods are reporting issues since the update. Stay tuned.
IceCreamBandit 1 Nov, 2012 @ 8:45pm
yeah it is ): still not working ):
Aertyr  [author] 1 Nov, 2012 @ 7:51pm
@PedjaSuperman, Make sure it is the last in the load order. This is very important. The last thing you subbed is not neccessarily the last in the loading order.
IceCreamBandit 1 Nov, 2012 @ 7:38pm
yeah, i have no custom perk things, im new to skyrim only play 115hours i just started a new hero, but yeah, only things i got are things to make trees look better and towns and couple weapons. And this was the last thing i sub'd
Aertyr  [author] 1 Nov, 2012 @ 7:33pm
@PedjaSuperman, You need to make sure to load it last. Any custom perks you have won't work with it.
IceCreamBandit 1 Nov, 2012 @ 6:39pm
how do you make this work? i sub'd to it but its not letting me loop around the perks...
IceCreamBandit 23 Oct, 2012 @ 11:14pm
how do you reset perks?
Overdoze <3 13 Oct, 2012 @ 6:46am
how can i remove the perks?
FunkyMonkey 3 Oct, 2012 @ 9:25pm
when i first played the game and saw the skill trees it seemed logical to me that this should b possible but it wasn't... thank you for making this mod
Satsuma 1 Sep, 2012 @ 8:38pm
This mod was great while I used it. Makes me sad to have to drop it in favour for things like ACE Combat Skills, etc.
Monty.Joseph 18 Aug, 2012 @ 1:52pm
@Titanarrow just use the console (you can reset all distributed perks)
Tuvstarr77 9 Aug, 2012 @ 6:53am
i thank you alot <3 just what i wanted.. now i just need a mod for respecing the perks also.. :). that would be nice..
MB666 5 Jul, 2012 @ 11:48am
I have tried making this the last loading mod.

I just cannot make this work!

What perk mod's is it NOT compatible with?
SkewerHed 22 Jun, 2012 @ 4:20am
Makes life a TON easier thanks sir.
Kiyo 22 May, 2012 @ 11:34pm
I have yours lower down on the Load List then the other mod :s
But currently having a bigger problem T_T One of my mods makes my game crash when attempting to enter Dragons Reach Keep...
Aertyr  [author] 21 May, 2012 @ 8:46pm
@Kiyo, I use them both and they play well with each other. Just load mine last. Load order is a big deal :)
Kiyo 21 May, 2012 @ 12:16pm
As stormingkiwi says; This mod won't work along with "Spend Dragon Souls For Perks" Mod. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=13544&searchtext=
Aertyr  [author] 21 Apr, 2012 @ 6:37pm
@Stormwiki, Well. Not having it loaded would make it hard to take effect :D!
APhoenixSoaring 21 Apr, 2012 @ 6:33pm
This is embarassing. I believe the conflict is between your mod and Dragon Souls for Perks. Those are the only two mods I have that should have anything to do with perks. I forgot all about that one when I was reading the list of mods.

It is not helped by the fact that I found your mod wasn't working, so I deactivated it. So all this time when I've been playing with the mod list the reason it isn't working is because it's not being loaded at all.
Aertyr  [author] 21 Apr, 2012 @ 9:24am
@stomingkiwi, Generally thats how it works yes. There are always exceptions and you need to fully read mods and what they change. A good tool to use is TESVSnip if you are using a mod that doesnt work properly. With TESVSnip you can see all the variables that it changes and think to yourself, "What other mod changes these variables?". For a lot of people though, its just not worth it, and a good rule of thumb is Skyrim, Content, Graphics/Sound, Game Mechanics.
APhoenixSoaring 21 Apr, 2012 @ 4:22am
Haha what I meant by "too many mods" installed is it is not immediately evident what exactly could be clashing with the mod.

So is that: Skyrim, Content, Graphics/Sound, Game Mechanics?
Aertyr  [author] 20 Apr, 2012 @ 5:23pm
@stormingkiwi, You may very well have "too many" mods installed, but in my experience, it's not so much the number of mods than the load order. Before I started making my own I modded my games heavily around 100+ mods, and let me tell you - finding the correct load order is an art in itself. Typically, any game mechanics mods, like mine, should always be loaded absolutely last followed by graphics/sound, and lastly content. If you don't have them in a proper order, things quickly get messy.
APhoenixSoaring 20 Apr, 2012 @ 4:56pm
Yup - Thanks man. That's how it should work, and that is exactly how it doesn't work.

I have a suspicion I have too many mods enabled. This isn't the only conflict (the other is that wall spells do not work properly)
Aertyr  [author] 4 Apr, 2012 @ 7:40am
@Mystery Doc, all mods can give you a false corruption like that if you are using too many. Any change in mods will more or less "Refresh" your game. This mod litterally changes about 20 if statements and thats about it. The chances of this mod being the one casuing corruption is about zero.

@BassMan86, load order is always the typical case for this. Any mod that comes after mine that also affects perks will render it void.
Torgo 3 Apr, 2012 @ 6:10pm
Used this mod and it corrupted all saves with this mod on it. If this happens to anyone else I just disabled the mod and my games came right back up.
Bass Man86 3 Apr, 2012 @ 6:35am
Hey great idea for a mod. I subscribed to it, have it ticked in tech files, but it is not working. Any ideas why?
that_guy 3 Apr, 2012 @ 5:23am
Console should only be used in desperate times, not to sait one's greed.
Aertyr  [author] 19 Mar, 2012 @ 8:36pm
@Stormingkiwi and Why_you_no_louder, It's simple. Download the mod by subscribing, make sure its checked in data files and you will be able to level up any perk that is connected to each other. Instead of down-up only you can now also go top-down. Hope that helps :)
