Report a translation problem
The first and foremost being the game actually will crash if the stagecoach is completely empty. I believe there's a way to fully disable it by making it unclickable in the UI but I instead opted for the second aspect which is:
Should your starting roster die the game basically soft locks. I DO plan to some day release a version of this mod where that's the case and its a stronger challenge, but for now I'm opting to keep the "villager"/"Fool" characters around in this iteration of the mod.
Side note but if regular heroes *ARE* spawning let me know, it might just be a case of your load order needs this mod at the very top, but if not then I'd have to patch it.
This mod is not fully abandoned yet but its still sitting on the shelf for another project I've been doing. Chances are when that mod releases this one will start getting updates again!
It might help if made a more explicit note that this adds an additional hero. On rereading the workshop entry I can only see the line "Bug testing in the works for new hero" as the only reference to that fact.
I have no idea where that comes from. It also only has three camping skills; encourage, wound care, and pep talk.
To clarify, do you mean Clair's hero is spawning in with this mod's skillsets and thus breaking it?

So for anyone wondering, no, you're not ungodly unlucky, the scripts are just bugged out rn. I pushed out a simple update today and hopefully that'll fix it, but I'll keep notes here.
Maybe add the thing about the deck system in the description, seems vital ;)

If anyone continues having issue please post a load order of your mod config and be sure your deck system is enabled in game settings (it is enabled by default so it would only be off if you messed with it.)
This mod is still sitting on the shelf, but was merely updated as a means to hopefully fix any issues people have been reporting.
Simply go to your Steamapps/DD folder --> heroes and open each "heroname".info with a texteditor and edit the last 2 entries of the last line to
".number_of_cards_in_deck 0 .card_chance 0.0"
(probably have to have the deckthingy turned on in the options)

@Mynameactually This is most likely happening due to another mod overwriting abom's info file, you'll have to mess around with your mod config to fix it, however chances are the two mods will be incompatible and require patchwork
On a side note its worth stating this mod is currently sitting on the shelf until further notice. I'm not actively modding in Darkest Dungeon atm and most likely won't pick up this project again until I can find an artist to help out with the project.
Does this conflict with CC Virulent Overhaul?
Then you don't have to worry about modded heroes compabilities, as people can do it themselves.
Just a small note on where in the files to add the heroes or so would be great!

I'm hoping to push out a rough draft of the new hero tomorrow and at that point I'll need beta testers for balance and finding any potiental bugs. I'll post more info on that when the new hero is up.
