There is no such thing as aerodynamics in SE.

You can only build subgrids manually in survival.
Take a seat inside pilot seat.
Go to terminal (list of functional blocks of ship) (K or something, I don't know default keybinds)
Select large string of text on top of the list with name CONTROL
Scroll list on a right until you find CONTROL button, press it.
It's 100% working.
