Nor Dogroth: there is killing just no animations... everyone is having heart attacks :) In naval boarding battles the killings are not tied to animations, the fight itself are decided by background calculations. I know this because I tested it a 100 times atleast.

So naval battles are impossible because my units don't kill anyone on the enemy's ship. That's a very big bug I mean...

Mr.F If you have the emperors edition, then it should work, but there is one way to be sure: try it :)
Genesis: I can give you the same advice, if you try it you'll see, or check out the videos (the last one is without mod for comparison)

i have the emperor edition for mac. and it might be the base version so i can't play online. does this mod compatible for my game?

Hi Ragnar! It doesn't add anything, just changes the "poking" animations. The changed files are(for this version): rome_man_spear_shiled_fragment, rome_man_sword_shield_fragment. Check your mod and if these two files are not in it, then there are no interference.

Yes it is! It's compatible with kill animatons overhaul (patch18)! I just tested it. The thing is there is not much difference in battle because the overhaul turn off the secondary attack probabililty so there is only matched combats. A little tweak and you see both mods glory... thanks for the tipp :)
