yes it does work, just toggle it on, you just have to make a new game, its on the advanced option on menu.

Hi totalslacker,
your mod has been translated by Junky into German and the translation is now part of the German translations for Civilization VI mods mod pack.
We would be more than happy if you could refer to the language translation in your mod description.

I thought it would make only the Original Capital have the effect, not all the other ones created after capturing it, would it be possible to make another version without this happening ?

Playing with so many Civs that there's a risk that some spawn too close and fall just because of loyalty before being able to do anything about it is a thing, conquering a whole territory, capturing the Capital City and it having no effects (or low) because a new unwaveringly loyal Capital is close to (or happening to myself from the AI and being way to safe because of that) it feels a bit too much to me ^^

As of 2022, appears to not work. On the TSL Earth remastered, especially in the tight confines of Europe, capitols rebelling almost immediately,. A 2022 update to this would be awesome.

Apparently capitals can become unloyal by pressure again if a civ captures one but it gets liberated in the future sometime later and returned to the original owner. Is this a bug or intentional?

checkbox is marked...at the start of the game there's a notification that capitals stay loyal but after just a couple of turns the old system is in place and my capital is losing loyalty again...playing as england being surounded by scottland france and netherlands (who drop out early and becomes french) loyalty is dropping like crazy and just a few turns later it is game over... no fun at all.... why does it change... i'm also using the key loyalties mod...maybe that's the reason... any help would be nice... thanks!

@Astacius. I checked and I only have two mods running other than this one, YNMP and Play the World. If I shut this mod off I get no crashes so maybe there's a conflict there but PtW recommends this mod so I'm wondering if something changed.

Update Version 2.1
-Loyal Capitals is now an advanced setup menu option, so you can turn it on or off like a game mode when you start a new game, without having to change your active mods

Bug Fixes:
-Removed overlapping requirement sets that were causing a database error
-Higher load order for mod files
-Changed the mod to "Affects Saved Games"

This mod used to work for me, and I really enjoyed using it. However, it stopped working in my most recent game. I am using numerous mods (about 140), so it could possibly be a mod conflict. , but with this many mods in use it would take me forever to spot which mod was causing the conflict. Therefore, i will have to reluctantly stop using this mod for the time being.

For me it does not work I want a fun colonial game as england so that europe does not collaps
I use this mod. But it never work for me and I needed to disable loyalty.

I hope this mod works, because if you play as England on the Giant Earth Map with all the Civs and start in the Ancient Era, you will lose within the first 10 turns because of France and the Netherlands.

I have this working as part of my map mod, but I am also seeing a "unique constraint failed" database error related to the modifier I used. I'm assuming Firaxis is using the same modifier effect in Gathering Storm. Other mods may be conflicting too. I'm looking into it. May be working for some but not others at this time, sorry.

It attaches a modifier to the Palace building. If changing the capital moves the Palace, I'm assuming it should still work

Just curious as to how this will now work, considering you are able to change your capital in the new expansion. Does this affect newly changed capitals once you've made the switch and then cease to work for the previous capital?

It affects city states but not free cities. It should work like you describe

I'm a bit confused with the comments? Does this effect city states or free cities? I'd still like to play with Loyalty just to have it so that my (or my oponents) original capital are unchangable
