Does this still work?
fktsuda 20 Feb, 2019 @ 3:47am
Nevermind, it still works.
fktsuda 20 Feb, 2019 @ 3:45am
Do you plan on updating this?
Genesi[s]  [author] 30 Aug, 2018 @ 7:55am
I don't have any specific plans atm, but I'll think of something soon :)
Genesi[s]  [author] 17 Aug, 2018 @ 5:59pm
Yes :)
Last-Aztec-Descendant 29 Mar, 2018 @ 10:29am
yeah we are thinking of the same one but its about the same size of the gladius
Genesi[s]  [author] 26 Mar, 2018 @ 3:06pm
I can but I think the swords are a bit too short (if we’re thinking about the same
One here)
Last-Aztec-Descendant 24 Mar, 2018 @ 10:20am
yeah man if you can if not its fine
Genesi[s]  [author] 24 Mar, 2018 @ 10:10am
The veteran infantry are equiped with hellenic swords, not axes. Is that what you'd like to see replaced?
Last-Aztec-Descendant 24 Mar, 2018 @ 10:02am
can the egyption veteran infantry come equipped with the egyption khopesh sword instead of axes plzzzzzzzz. great mod bro
Genesi[s]  [author] 9 Mar, 2018 @ 8:46am
Update:
- All vanilla Egyptian units who use Hellenic daggers now use the new Kushite daggers instead, which are modeled after ancient Egyptian swords.
Genesi[s]  [author] 7 Mar, 2018 @ 10:58am
Update:
- Added custom unit cards for Desert Axemen and Nile Spearmen.

They're not that great but I think the new ones are better than simply re-using others in the game.
Genesi[s]  [author] 1 Mar, 2018 @ 8:10pm
Yeah, but keep in mind this mod is just meant to “Egyptianize” the faction, not be historically accurate :p
Karl Franz 1 Mar, 2018 @ 7:52pm
Mhm, That being said, Egyptian officers for every unit would be innaccurate.
Genesi[s]  [author] 1 Mar, 2018 @ 7:48pm
Really? :O

I better go work on my historical knowledge XD
Karl Franz 1 Mar, 2018 @ 6:13pm
It's not exactly historically inaccurate, the Ptolemies made use of Native Egyptian soldiers in large numbers, Though the higher ranked troops and the more professional ones were usually of Hellenic descent. Most of the lower ranked soldiers likely would only have access to Linthorax armour or the cloth armour/helmets you gave them.
Genesi[s]  [author] 26 Feb, 2018 @ 1:06pm
I know, I pointed that out in the description. It's just for fun :P
Genesi[s]  [author] 26 Feb, 2018 @ 10:04am
Hahaha! Maybe I am ;D
Jorvach 26 Feb, 2018 @ 9:12am
Oooh! You took my suggestion! :D Just in time too! I'm literally about to start a new egyptian campaign, then this gets updated! ..:You're not psychic are you? :P
Genesi[s]  [author] 26 Feb, 2018 @ 9:01am
Update:
- Added a new unit, Egyptian Chariots.
- Egyptian Cavalry and Nubian Cavalry now have the new Egyptian officers.
Genesi[s]  [author] 25 Feb, 2018 @ 5:08am
Oh! Let me see! Thank you for letting me know, must've slipped by me :P

And I'll look into it :)
Jorvach 25 Feb, 2018 @ 5:02am
Just noticed that Nubian Cavalry and Egyptian Cavalry both still have greek officers, rather than the new egyptian ones. Might want to look into that? ;)
Also, might I suggest adding a chariot unit? Not sure if Chariot Archers can be done in Rome 2, but perhaps a light javelin chariot unit? Just to complete the "ancient egypt" feeling! :)
Genesi[s]  [author] 25 Feb, 2018 @ 4:37am
Fixed a major game-breaking bug that may not have allowed you to raise any new armies in the campaign. I apologize for the inconvenience!
AcTenebras 24 Feb, 2018 @ 6:47am
:( not your fault but thats for the quick response
Genesi[s]  [author] 24 Feb, 2018 @ 6:36am
I’m afraid not, sorry :/
AcTenebras 24 Feb, 2018 @ 6:20am
i really like the look of the shield i just dont think its large enough is that a thing you can do?
Genesi[s]  [author] 24 Feb, 2018 @ 6:18am
The desert axemen? Sure. Do you have a specific shield in mind you’d like them to carry?

What white thing?
AmonXDaemonX 24 Feb, 2018 @ 4:45am
can you remove that white thing between their legs?
AcTenebras 23 Feb, 2018 @ 6:38pm
could you make the shields bigger on the third unit in the pics?
Genesi[s]  [author] 22 Feb, 2018 @ 5:43am
Update:
- Pharaoh's Royal Guard and Monthu's Pikemen can now be recruited as the general's bodyguard in the campaign.
Genesi[s]  [author] 22 Feb, 2018 @ 1:05am
Update:
- Nerfed morale, melee attack, recruitment cost, and upkeep cost for Egyptian Spear Levies.
- Replaced placeholder text.
Genesi[s]  [author] 21 Feb, 2018 @ 3:34pm
Haha hope u enjoy!
Jorvach 21 Feb, 2018 @ 3:07pm
Wonderful! I actually tried my hand at making a Pharaoh's Guard unit that looked a lot like yours, though I failed. I think PFM wasn't working correctly though, rather than a lack of ability on my part. Anyway, now I won't have to! :P Thanks!
