I'm guessing this isn't compatible with PZ's 'Psionic Training' as it modifies the Psionics Lab like you mentioned?

@SupremeMorpheus i did, it causes the same problem. obviosly, my guess is a mod conflict. but i can't think of any mods that could possibly change how the psi lab works (other than this)

in my most recent playthrough, i can't train anyone. a bunch of soldiers have the gift, but they don't appear as options when i open the menu in the psi lab. instead, i can train my rookies, neither of which have the gift

It's not compatible with old saves, please do not update in the middle of a campaign! This version will remain up on the workshop for old campaigns, but is no longer supported.

Can anyone assist me with the console commands, I got the Force Reroll Command figured out [the one where the entire roster rerolls], but I'm trying to figure out how to properly type out the reroll and force gift command for one character. Firstly are the one of these two I'm doing correct? Secondly, what's the [FString] for?

@Dragon32 There is a mod named Chosen Variety Mod which adds an Warlock Psi-Amp which is good i wanted to use it with this mod unfortunately i am unable to do was going as support here.

The way the psi-amps (utility and the secondary) work is really hacky and seriously do need to sit down sometime and just... remove them.

And restricting it to looking by TemplateName at the utility slot one got me the one with the missing ability name error. The absolute last one I want, I think.

Trying to use with Pistol Slot 2.0.

Got THREE Psi-amp types showing in the pistol slot.

One with a psi strength bonus field, one with a missing ability name error and one with both.

The second and third are the ones that appear in the secondary slot, while the first is the one that appears in the utility slot.

by disabling all my mods and gradually re-enabling them I've found out, for some strange reason, that the big iron weapons pack was the cause of my issue

well, all of the other features of the mod work fine, and the other console commands are recognised so i assume it is enabled

i can't see the utility slot psi-amps, and the UpdateUtilitySlotPsiarms command is not recognised. is this normal?

Yes, Templars can get the Gift (both of mine did in my last campaign) and so need to be trained in the Psi Lab.
If you're asking if Templars can be created from Rookies then, no.

PsiAmp_InventorySlot=eInvSlot_SenaryWeapon in XComUtilitySlotPsiarms.ini. Is that suppose to say TenaryWeapon or SecondaryWeapon? Does it even matter?

No. That's only part of XComLatentPsionics.ini

You'll need to edit that file yourself, and edit my edit if you don't have "LW2 Classes and Perks"

@signofjustice I don't think there is a way to edit those chances but you can always force the psigiift through console command (it's what I did with the one unit I really wanted to be a psi)

Is there a way to make the races from Allies Unknown either have a higher chance of being psionic or making so they have no chance. I have a Geth and Turian that are psionic and an Asari that isn't. It would just make more sense if I could control it. If there isn't a way I'll probably take them out on my next playthrough.

Just a headsup to get buried in this Discussion.

It's pretty well known that this mod coupled with the "Quick Soldier Info" mod will break Avenger Defence missions with the camera being stuck on mission load.

This also just happened to me with the Covert Op: Data Retrieval mission from the "Raider Faction Bases" mod.

I was able to play the mission by disabling "Quick Soldier Info" and loading an earlier geoscape save.

Symptoms are that the mission takes a long time to load, RAM usage spikes (RivaTuner had it above 15GB, yeah giga ) and when the level finally loads the camera's half underground. Bizarrely, it's loaded the map from the previous mission (use X2DebugMap console command).

Yes, this works with RPG Overhaul, but it conflicts with a couple of the psi-based RPGO perk sets because of the whole psi-amps as utility items.

Is there any way to make a Psi Gifted unit from this mod "count" as a Psi Operative class template for the purpose of equipment requirements from other mods? I've added a couple of mods which add new Psi PCS's and a Psi-based primary weapon but both have a Psi Operative restriction. I have tried adding the class names to +PsionicClasses= in the XComLatentPsionics.ini config file but it's still not letting them equip Psi Operative restricted equipment.

Is this compatible with "No More Psi Amps", which changes Psi Amps to Psi Underlay and gives each power animations instead of the Psi Amp animation?

If no, can you please make a compatibility patch? It is straight up one of the better Psi mods out there, and I'd hate to choose between it and this.

cannot get the ForcePsiGift <unitname> command to work under any circumstances. I have tried every combination of "unit name" under the sun and it just will not work

Does this mod have any weird interactions with the MEC Trooper mod? (e.g. MEC troopers getting psi abilities or retaining psi abilities after getting chopped)

Aside from that one, yeah, that's annoying, though in my experience it's any trooper, not just templars. Still, not the biggest loss in the world, it's only 40 psi at the end of the day
