Where do I get the Authetic Repair kit? Could you please explain to me how? Or at least could you change to normal Repair Kit to make it more simple pls.

As I already mentioned, you should not use this mod anymore, since it will likely conflict with the vanilla limb crafting system.

Exspes, i have 1 question - where i can craft authentic rep.kit? Can u remove it from craft and change for normal repair kit? Or add authentic rep. kit in craft.

It won't disable it, but it will most likely conflict. So if you play on experimental, better disable this mod.

just to clarify, this is only obsolete IF you are on the Experimental Branch, if not, it is still usable

Now that limb crafting was added to the Vanilla what are the plans for the mod? You will adapt to the vanilla and expand or will leave as an "overhaul" of the limb crafting system?

@aidynmaster I've also noticed that I craft shoddy grade limbs if I craft them at night. I,too, think it has something to do with the insta-build that's causing the bug. Workaround: craft limbs during the day.

Sometimes for no apparent reason my guy with 85 robotics makes a shoddy grade limb and I have no idea why. I have a lot of extra power production and there's a ton of lights around the bench. I mean, even if he was in full darkness I don't think he should be making a shoddy. Urgh. I think the instant-build on the limbs might be causing a bug.

Wait, err, did you say you changed the vanilla robotics bench to use Robotics? I got a mod for that thinking otherwise due to using robotics benches from another mod until now. :p Had to delete 3 posts talking about this problem.

Anyway can you add a storage chest specifically for limbs? My dude keeps stopping all work across 5 benches as soon as a limb is crafted.

Awesome mod. congrats, may i ask for limb storage chest? its kinda tedious to micro manage your worker not emptying the work bench becasue of not having a proper storage.

4 Authentic Skeleton Repair Kits

Can you please replace that with a craftable repair kit? I have my mind set on doing a strange "ironman mode" game where you can't trade (except blueprints unfortunately unless I steal and I don't WANT to steal because too damn easy).

2nd: I agree with what SquirrelWizard asked for. Either that or replace the "Authentic Skeleton Repair Kit" with more standard ones. So my base can be self sufficient :D

Ok what happend to the Prostheic Limb crafting mod? I still have it thanfully, but when I try to go the the page, it won't go anywhere, I know this ain't the place you normmaly go to for this stuff, but since it was the only decent one I found, I just have to ask!

could it be possible to add in an "Authentic Skeleton Repair Kit" recipe for the robotics bench? Its kind of annoying that I can craft the big daddy of repair kits, but to make the arms I gotta go to teh store and buy cheap knock off kits.

Maybe I'll go about making a mod that you talk to a limb surgon and it triggers a event that does a instant 400 damage to the limb of your choise but sadly I'm not good at modding xD

Hey Exspes, firstly, thank you for creating this mod. I have no idea how much time and effort goes into something like this, but it enhances my game experience greatly, so thank you for your efforts.

That being said, I seem to be encountering a problem whereby the only limbs being produced are of "prototype" quality, even though my guy has awesome Science skill. Any idea why that might be?

I just made the robotic limbs craftable. Right now, there is only a right thief and steady arm.
I'm currently gathering some ideas for new specialized limbs.
Even though I'll be using the existing models with different stats, a left thief and steady is defintely going to be added.

You can most certainly use a custom mesh for the bench, The issue is the collider data. Best thing you could do is change up the robotic workbench mesh and then use the same xml.

Quality is like every other crafted stuff. If I remember correctly, Masterwork quality can appear at 80+ Skill

Most stuff is already in the files, just the vanilla limb bench won't work. But since the stuff is there, it will be added to the game. As I wrote in the description, it's just a workaround until it's vanilla.
I might add a new workbench to "repair" severed limbs, which you can cicle through like leveled work benches.

That's a great idea. It's actually not that much work, at least not if I use the already existing models. I'll take a look at it tomorrow.

Crazy idea: Create new types of limbs. Like specialized arms for mining, harvesting, and killing. Special swimming legs for swimming, or sneak legs for quiet moving.

I am not to sure how hard this will be. I am assuming that this would just be adding a green value to the limb for the skills you want to enhance.

oh, ic. contrary to other items there can be no specific igredients for robot limbs / craft times - but its apparently halfway done in vanilla, so we can hope that they will add the functionallities soon.

PS: you could make a workbench for each leg/ arm with the requirement :D
