is there now way to make them scale with difficulty? flat +75% output is a bit too much for me tho i guess i could just modify that myself but yk, would be nicer if they scaled like normal ai

It adds a Policy, check the Policies.
To see the bonus it should be found when you click the overall info on the top left
林一 26 Jul, 2021 @ 10:19am
i use this mod,and using console to play my vassal .... don't see any change ,is there anything wrong?
Crim  [author] 27 May, 2021 @ 6:32pm
If the other mod has any suggestion follow it instead. The core of the mod isn't affected by other mods. Only the percentage transfer into the Master.
Eldritch_Eternity 27 May, 2021 @ 3:08am
So, where should I put this in the modlist if I have mods that add vassal types? Or is it not relevant?
Thanks for making the mod btw, didn't realize the issue with the base game but glad someone decided to do something :>
Crim  [author] 11 May, 2021 @ 12:08pm
Its programmed to be extremely simple, so yea it works in 3.0
Gbrille 11 May, 2021 @ 3:40am
3.0 supported?
Journeyman Prime 19 Jan, 2021 @ 10:45am
@ MrFunEGUY Wait, it DOES!!!!!?????!!!
Crim  [author] 30 Aug, 2020 @ 5:09pm
That doesn't sound like it was a thing when I made this mod, but yea! That sounds way better. I recommend anyone who is using my mod to probably use that instead.
MrFunEGUY 30 Aug, 2020 @ 5:04pm
Ah alright. Doesn't make much sense to use this then if I use Dynamic Difficulty, which lets you choose to let player controlled subjects keep the ai bonuses. Thanks for explaining.
Crim  [author] 30 Aug, 2020 @ 4:42pm
The game gives AI difficulty bonuses even on low difficulties, but it NEVER gives it to AI controlled player subjects. So even on normal difficulty your subjects will be garbage. This gives those subjects - It increases the effects of Worker class by 75%
As well as reduces Navy size by 50%... Meaning they will be minimally competent.
MrFunEGUY 30 Aug, 2020 @ 4:39pm
What does this mod do?
Crim  [author] 12 May, 2020 @ 5:23pm
If this mod is ever having issues, not working or causing anything else funky to happen, just let me know and I will try to fix it.
Crim  [author] 24 Mar, 2020 @ 4:48pm
Thank you for enjoying the mod
Legendsmith 23 Mar, 2020 @ 8:17pm
Awesome. Thank you so much.
Crim  [author] 23 Mar, 2020 @ 11:46am
Thank you Legend, give me a little bit and I will
Legendsmith 23 Mar, 2020 @ 9:33am
Is this mod going to be updated for the latest patch?
Sumrex 11 Dec, 2019 @ 3:45pm
Hey, I'm interested in integrating this mod directly into my own vassalisation mod. I sent you a friend req so we can discuss.
Thank you!
Journeyman Prime 25 Apr, 2019 @ 8:22am
But could you code it so that during wartime all the fleets my vassels control become MY fleets (minus them costing naval capacity and upkeep)? And then when the war ends they become my vassal's fleets again?
Crim  [author] 24 Apr, 2019 @ 9:30pm
Indeed, its exactly why I reduce their military power. They get significant economic bonuses to keep them prosperous, and you benefit by getting a portion. Sadly, it isn't really possible to improve the AI on them.
Journeyman Prime 14 Mar, 2019 @ 9:34pm
@ ArcticISAF My Vassals in my last game as a Feudal empire made rather sizable fleets. By the time I logged off my strongest vassal had 3 or 4 fleets of 6/7k each. The problem is that those fleets will only ever either follow my fleets like lost puppies, or do their own thing. I want to be able to order my vassals around and make them follow my battle plans!

Crim  [author] 11 Jan, 2019 @ 5:58pm
Vassals do not increase your Naval Cap, I'm not sure how to make that a feature to be honest. If I was given a little guidance, I could probably add it into it.
TDevereux 9 Jan, 2019 @ 5:00pm
With 2.2 does this patch contribute to Lord Naval Cap? I dont see it in your notes but everything else sounds like it fixes the vassal play style problems, good work
Crim  [author] 15 Dec, 2018 @ 10:48am
I honestly wish they would just fix Vassals. Without a mod like this creating any Vassal is literally just throwing away areas of Empire. They will basically never grow and eventually self implode.
ArcticISAF 15 Dec, 2018 @ 8:34am
Yeah, it does. I've tested it with the testing branch.
Las 15 Dec, 2018 @ 3:59am
Do you know if this works with the testing branch?
ArcticISAF 14 Dec, 2018 @ 11:21pm
Awesome, thanks so much for checking into it and making it work. :D I can see the immediate effects it has on the AI economies. No longer starving and dying a slow death to rebellion. That helps immensely towards my game satisfaction. Especially where I like to have vassals to take control of the areas I conquer.

Now I'll have to see if the AI will actually start forming a fleet of any size (but that's for another time, will have to test it more long term).
Crim  [author] 14 Dec, 2018 @ 1:32am
WORKING! Got it working, instead of trying to change traditions, I created a new policy with the benefits.
ArcticISAF 12 Dec, 2018 @ 9:12am
Have you gotten it to work alright? I was playing around with the mod in a current game, trying to get it to work (even trying to create my own mod to play with the numbers), but no apparent change.

If you have gotten it to work, then that's great, and I'll try it out further. :D
Crim  [author] 10 Dec, 2018 @ 12:12am
I can't afford the expansion to check compatibility with it, but I'll work to get it working into 2.2 otherwise.
968lCO 8 Dec, 2018 @ 12:52am
Please update this if possible, i felt my Fuedal Society playstyle is way harder on this 2.2
Crim  [author] 7 Dec, 2018 @ 8:42am
It also may no longer be needed if they actually fixed the AI in 2.2 (hahaha I kid)
Crim  [author] 7 Dec, 2018 @ 8:42am
Doubtful, 2.2 changed a LOT!!! I will need to do quite a bit of testing and confirming
968lCO 7 Dec, 2018 @ 2:55am
Is this working for the 2.2?
Crim  [author] 25 Aug, 2018 @ 6:57pm
Vassals gain "Protected by our Lord
+100% Food
+50% Energy
+50% Mineral
-50% Fleet Size"

The Lord (usually the player), also gains a small income from his Vassals as well as they will be significantly more successful.
bender222w 25 Aug, 2018 @ 11:19am
so what exactly are the changes? Protected by our lord does what exactly?
Dukkokun 13 Jul, 2018 @ 6:09pm
Just a heads up, this mod borks the Vassalization option for Machine Empires!
Las 23 Jun, 2018 @ 2:50pm
Does this work for tributaries?
Crim  [author] 4 Jun, 2018 @ 4:50am
Only Vassals will have a change. Lords will continue to have Protection Racket, since its actually pretty good.
Baugoti 28 May, 2018 @ 9:43am
Is this supposed to change the name of the tradition? All I see is the same 'Protection Racket' and not noticing any non-standard bonus's. I checked the files, also not seeing changes :/
Crim  [author] 27 May, 2018 @ 9:38am
It's programmed in pretty unintrusive way. It only affects two game file, the Domination Tree and Subjects. Even if they were to change things inside that tree, it would technically still work. It just wouldn't have their new changes.

It doesn't seem like they changed either in 2.1, so it should work fine. However if you find any issues let me know.
Chastity the Celibate 27 May, 2018 @ 7:06am
Does this work with 2.1?
Crim  [author] 19 May, 2018 @ 1:20pm
Protectorates are affected by this mod.
You honestly get more benefits from Protectorates, 15% instead of 10% in Taxes.
Crim  [author] 5 May, 2018 @ 7:56am
I made this specifically for 2.0, but I can't imagine that the files between 1.9 and 2.0 changed significantly. So it likely would work for 1.9.
Space Bird 3 May, 2018 @ 10:57pm
Would you be willing to post the 1.9 version of this (if there is one)?
Chastity the Celibate 17 Apr, 2018 @ 3:01pm
Could you also give a small opinion modifier to vassals you create? Like “granted autonomy”
Kepler68 27 Mar, 2018 @ 2:46pm
congrats on the quick growth! i suggest you also try to get a picture of the mod in action :)
Crim  [author] 27 Mar, 2018 @ 1:52pm
Woah, 60 Subscribers in only 2 days! This is awesome. I'm thinking of also changing Fleet Levies and Vassal Accultration for the Vassals themselves. Since those 2 are bonuses for the Overlord. Tho I'm not sure exactly what would fit these Traditions. Probably additional Defense Stations to replace Fleet Levies, so that the AI can better defend it's borders despite having smaller Levies.
