Is this compatible with the latest version of the game?

This is great addition & idea for this beautiful game. Can imagine colonists to have good time there in long tunnels with nice tram that they use :eshock: I'll share the good word about this & added to my Surviving Mars Mods collection. I also subbed to Better Zoom Distance, but not to Cheat Mod.

That's cause don't use cheats cause prefer to earn the bread into table & enjoy the progress & feeling of job well done :astronautmars: Thanks author, i wish you Year ahead with success & lots of enjoyable moments :hearter::timer:

Well, it's possible that disabling another mod might also remove the error because it could be a conflict. But as I said, this mod was built using the built in game mod editor. Not much I can do about that.

Please confirm how you determined that the error is coming from my mods? The Tech.lua file is not even part of my mods and the code that was built for this mod was made by the ingame mod editor directly from Paradox.

The only code executed that was not created by the mod editor is the in the setTechEffects.lua of the mod package. This file has only 21 lines of code and the error you posted indicates that the error occurs in the Mars/Lua/Tech.lua file on line 468.

this or the longer passages tech is giving this error in log

ok, I have updated it. I think it should work....test it and let me know :-) Didn't have to do anything. just re-save it for new game version and then upload to steam.

Yes, it wont work on old saves. Only new games as the technology needs to be in your tree from the start.

@BrowncoatTrekky Just used this mod with the new DLC/latest update and have had 0 issues with it, so maybe a conflict with something else.

Does anyone who use this mod have the latest update and DLC? I am experiencing a glitch creating tunnels and want to know if related to this mod. See here for details. When I create a tunnel, I am unable to select where I want to place it. It remains in red, and the white spot you see is moveable but unable to do anything. Suggestions?

@Stedo, You will be please to know that I have created a mod called Longer Passages Tech allowing you to research a tech called "Faster Moving Walkways" (passages are twice as long) as well as a possible breakthrough called "Hover Walkways" (passages are five times as long).

Mod incompatibility relates to two or more mods conflicting with each other. I don't see that to be the case in this situation. Also, if there are other gamers that are experiencing the same issue then i will investigate further but you're the first to report this and I am hesitant to believe it's a problem with the mod.

Please check this link; This is not a bug with my mod but rather the mod manager.

Regarding the tech not showing up, please try disabling all other mods and see if the tech tree has an extra undiscovered item compared to all the other trees. if it does, then it is working. it just hasn't been discovered. if it does not show an extra one, then it is not working.

Unfortunately it seems that this mod doesn't work with my Easy Start-Savegame...
First my screen doesn't let me in the game and was stuck in the loading screen, than, after a forced restart with the taskmanager, there was (and is still) no Improved Tunnel Boring-Tech... :(

I don't blame you, because I'm sure this mod works perfectly at other players! :) I just want you to know that I'm one of the 1% of those cases in which it doesen't work. ^^

any chance to write this in to an "interconnecting" tunnelsystem, 1 entrance multiple exits an vis versa?
