Is there anyway to turn chapter 2 city guards friendly again? I accidently stole infront of someone and the guards attacked me and I stupidly saved over my quicksave so now Id lose hours of progress. I've been limping through chapter 2 by using console commands to turn each one friendly again but its making scripted scenes really tough to maneuver cause changing npc factions seems to break their scripts...

I've never used this Community tab thing, unfortunately, but you can try this:

Download this file:

Open the zipped file, and inside you should see the Aielund Finale mod. Place that in your modules folder and see if the game picks it up after finishing 4.3, and if not launch it standalone.

That was the whole list, from what you are suggesting the Aielund downloaded from in game "Community" tab is missing "Aielund Finale mod" as I cannot find it anywhere.

modules folder only contains the default modules, I've read that modules downloaded from the community tab are stored in nwsync folder, inside of that folder I only have two files "nwsyncdata_0.sqlite3" and "nwsyncmeta.sqlite3". I have also made a screenshot of the ingame NWSync Store Manager https://i.imgur.com/rOwhdXC.png

Hey, I have an issue when the "The End" doesn't want to load. I am having the final dialogue with Criosa, the screen fades to black and I am stuck, the "The End" part does not load. Any way to fix that, please?

Just bear in mind the game is not balanced around default Time Stop + IGMS spam, max health Heals/Harms, etc.

On the EMS debate; I found a walk-through online of how to remove it from the game.
I played with the normal magic system, which I much prefer.

I figure if this mod is gonna have low-level dungeons w/ poison spiders or traps w/ no way to disarm them unless you're certain classes, then I have no problem just using the console to give myself antidotes, restorations, and a lens of detection.

Two can play that game, right?

Would you mind clarify what level you reached? The first module is the weakest but I feel it's still significantly better than the first chapter of The Wailing Death, which is super heavy on hacking through trivial encounters and way too much looting of minor and irrelevant treasure.

I've seen many praises about this module being better than the official campaigns, but honestly it's at the same level as the very first campaign, aside from having support for epic levels.

Enemies placement and adjustment to the player's level is very bad, the story tries to be epic but is too rushed, plus many unneeded changes were introduced to D&D rules without any warnings.

No, it's part of the Enhanced Magic System (EMS), the main reason being important objects were being accidentally destroyed and also stuff like messing with the AI.

Lightning Bolt is the one exception, the reason why will become obvious later.

Another part of the problem by default is that it ends up in a few specific spells being almost constantly used (notably Fireband and IGMS) because they lack friendly fire. EMS tries to promote a greater variety of spell usage while nerfing the most overpowered things (like Harm, Time Stop + IGMS spam, and damage shields).

It also makes casters actually scale meaningfully in the epic levels.

It's not perfect by any stretch of the imagination (Stoneskin giving crit immunity should not be a thing, especially when enemies with +5 or better weapons literally can't remove the buff), but I think in general it's still an improvement over the baseline.

Truly the greatest piece of Neverwinter Nights content ever created, more innovative and enjoyable than even the three original campaigns. There are small bits that can be finicky or frustrating, they come across as nothing more than a drop of water in the ocean of this masterpiece. Could not recommend higher, bravo to the creators.

It seems that there is no friendly fire from AoE effects (such as fireball) on the hardcore difficulty. Is this a bug?

How do I fill the Empty Water Bottles in the oasis after killing the crabs in act 4?
Walking into the water doesn't do it.
Standing next to the water doesn't help.
There is no way to use the item.
Resting in the water isn't it.
Dropping them in the water and picking them up alter doesn't work.
Any ideas?

Still in the middle of the story but love the module. I can see why it's highly rated and touted. Great story and environment, and was just a fun module to play.

Most memorable NWN story I've played to date, had a blast first experiencing the story that did a great job immersing me in the world of Feydwiir and had excellent pacing in terms of progression. I loved the feeling of starting off as some nobody passing through only to be roped up into the fate of Aielund simply by being inconvenienced about the state of things and deciding to do something about it rather than sit around and do nothing.

I congratulate you on this masterpiece Savant and I look forward to any future projects you have planned.

Just played the first episode of this for the first time. For the life of my I don't understand how it has such high ratings. What a slog! Countless billions of enemies of the same kind over and over and over. The whole module would only last an hour if it wasn't for constant fights whose only point is to make it stretch out longer than it should. Sheesh, terrible module.
