I'm back after a break from Kenshi. I'll be taking a close look at this mod to see and make changes as necessary.

Although this mod may be unecessary now. It is under review.

Until I stumbled on this mod I didn't realize the stats for the plate jacket were so bad. Woops.

New Update:

I am now done with fine-tuning the stats, and I am quite happy with the final results. I think you will find them fair and well-balanced, and offer more of an alternative rather than just being clearly better than other armor items that are currently in the game.

These will be the new stats for the foreseeable future, unless there are noteable armor balancing changes in a future update.

I'm just used to saying back-seat gaming award, cuz my favorite streamer, who I watch way too much, says it all the time, even has an emote for it.

Very not obvious. I don't want you to feel dumb, and I will happily erase my comments if you like. I just want modders with good ideas, to have the ideas mechanically sound >as best as I understand them< as well. It was real bad when the order in which you put the armor on was most important.... that was awful.

Just read the stun section on the armor stats explained post... Wow, that is very very not obvious, and either needs to be renamed, have a section in the help/tutorials menu in-game! Not a bad mechanic, I'm not saying replace it, but wow, calling it stun is very deceptive, if not plain wrong!

I've got over 200 hours in the game, and I never knew that! Boy, I feel dumb! I actually read up on armor, but I just skipped the stun section, cuz I thought it was obvious, but I guess I had it backwards!

I'll update it asap!

To rephrase what I say below, high stun numbers are particularly bad on overarmors like armor and pants, and less bad on things like shirts and boots, because of stun pass through mechanics. The armor mechanics is the top thread in the balance and gameplay forum.

Wait... you gave them MORE stun... making them weaker than drifter's... to do what now? Isn't that the exact opposite of what you were trying to do? High stun numbers are bad... REAL bad. Maybe have another read on the armor mechanics thread?
