The missile system doesn't seem to be working. Any suggestions?

It has full conveyor system, cargo space, refineries, assemblers, it will murder anything in pve and it won't take 8 years to build so yes

I could make omni directional drives, but it seems excessive to me. And they are laggy on multiplayer

Ugh im spamming you here, but, i see that you like to put a supporting "cheat" drive (gravity). Check out The One Gravity Drive , or Jerry Rigged Torque Canceling Gravity Drive and it will open a whole HUGE can of worms.... They made me consider smallgrid combat ships opsolete....

thanks! i have been testing the lidar mapping, i might get it into this or future ships

A small personal suggestion: replace Whip's artificial horison with 2D / 3D Lidar mapping for maximum homeworldiness :D.

What's more it is exactly as i picture a destroyer based on todays navy classifications. The tonnage, weapon systems (long range guided rockets), self reliant on long missions (production facilities) and a helipad (hangar). No wasted space in the design, a sleek outer design. Sub, like and a big good job from me!

It is based on a larger ship you might never see that was based on the hiigaran battlecruiser

My first thought as well :D. I like it.
