The update process for this mod is a little bit harder (as I take the main mod, and remove some parts).
The message wasn't about removing it immediatly, I was asking if there were some active users using it...
If it happens, you can switch to the full version.
To answer your question, both mods can teleport you to locations unavailable in normal gameplay, as long as you found a way to access it WITHOUT this mod. For example, to be able to teleport to the first boss room (as I did in the workshop presentation animation), I had to complete the whole boss once, and save the location of the boss room using a datacard, but I couldn't access it without going in it once at least.
"teleporting from deep underground" is possible with both version of the mod.
If you think it can be an interesting mecanic, I can try to make a patch for my mod to disable teleporting from deep underground for static teleporters, and add an extra cost for the full mod version
The items which are removed from this version of the mod allow you to teleport without any object placed in the world.
It was typically designed for people who want to create maps (space stations...), set a teleporter network in it, and then protect the zone from editing (like dungeons or apex labs). In that case, they can make this mod a requirement to join the server (or include it in a modpack) and users can either use this version of the mod, or the full version, which will provide them additionnal items...
=> If no, you can switch to full version, which provides ShapeShifting Teleporters (teleporters which can take the look and shape of "any" object).
=> If yes, remember that I don't want to provide something totally seperated from the Vanilla, so I have a beacon with the same size than vanilla beacons. But if you really need this, I can provide a smaller skin :) Just tell me.

(full changelog is available on the main mod page
Don't hesitate to use the full version of the mod, especially for the CEC system, which allows you to create a repertory of interesting planets for all your clients :P
But I see your point now, sorry for misunderstanding :)
The goal is to have a less-OP version of the mod, and as the Warpbook IS OP, I removed it.
