Then once they started moving again, one of them triggered an overwatch shot from one of my troopers, then proceeded to dash off the map and run into the murky void forever, effectively softlocking my game (maybe; I gave up and exited after about a minute).
They kept throwing up "Ruler Reaction" notices with every action, and repeatedly while running.
I do have the Ruler Rework and Playable Rulers mods installed, if that has anything to do with this. Also, I have not encountered the true Berzerker Queen yet.
Anyway, I probably should have made multi ruler spawn an option instead of default feature. For now, you can do the following:
Open XComEncounterLists.ini in <<SteamLibrary>>\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\1360751246\Config\ and add ; in front of each line here:
+SpawnDistributionLists=(ListID="DefaultFollowers", \\
SpawnDistribution[0]=(Template="BerserkerBoss", MinForceLevel=20, MaxForceLevel=20, MaxCharactersPerGroup=1, SpawnWeight=20), \\

(if you want to reduce the spawn rate of alien ruler clones, simply change the number from 20 to anything lower)
WARNING: ALIEN RULER CLONES ARE AFFECTED BY BETA STRIKE.
There is no pain comparable to 200hp Berserker Queen with Prime Reactions.

And also, would the cloned Rulers be affected by any mods which make changes to the original Rulers?

Do the Clone Rulers try to escape like the originals?
Sorry if that's a lot of questions all at once but I'm trying to figure out if this is a mod I can use with others that are must haves in my opinion.
I found their code changed in XComEncounterLists.ini
And yes, it's meant to drop next turn.
