Use manual Kill with debug console.

Click on F4 and type GreatStuff. Put cursor on bugged inhibitor, click and hold F4 and then click K. This should destroy bugged inhibitor.

I think every new patch keeps breaking old maps for some reason. Even with ''fail-safe'' system, things may still go crazy.

The inhibitor is still claimable, unfortunately.

Perhaps I can introduce another safety measure to prevent this from happening, but I need to know which inhibitor got glitched out. A screenshot would help a lot.

WFTO tends to break if a game goes beyond one hour or multiple save / load sessions took place during playthrough. These are the most common sources of various bugs and glitches that you may get. It's usually best to be a level in one playthrough as it greatly reduces the chances that something will go wrong.

Regarding inhibitor situation itself - inhibitors should not be claimable. However there's a small possibility they do glitch out and become claimable by workers. Since you say that unclaim didn't work, the only solution is to destroy such inhibitor manually. I can add a trigger that will do the job, another alternative is debug console and manual kill.

Inhibitors should not be claimable. Have you tried using Unclaim ability?

You can use debug console and F4 + K combo while having such inhibitor selected, it will manually destroy the selected inhibitor.

Thumbs up, like the map. However I had to unsubscribe it (lack of check mark triggers me on scenario list xD). I had a bug - I CLAIMED 2 inhibitors on the western side of the castle causing me to not be able to finish the scenario. It was fun, I liked it! Cheers!

Updated to v2.41. Added shield removal system. Now inhibitors should lose their protection correctly when connected wizard is k.oed.

Good large map with lots of fighting. One bug though, I can't destroy last inhibitor (on the bottom left). No save or load, tried on one go.

Restart Steam / Game after you do subscribe. It should fix loading issue. Also do note that due to save / load bug that game has, there's small chance it will refuse to load on few tries. Sadly I can't fix that as it's WFTO bug and should be addressed by devs themselves. Sometimes, restarting game / steam also helps fixing problems with loading a save file.

Updated to version 2.3.

Added extra Neutral and Empire areas. Added few extra shrines and artifacts. You can choose to skip intro at the beginning of the map.

Introduced 2 new difficulties. You can now choose between Standard Mode and Zen Mode. Standard Mode is map with normal settings. Zen Mode is map with variety of bonuses for relaxed and fun gameplay.

1. Hopefully fixed inhibitor bug. It's known issue for some scenario maps which is generally fixed by simple updating.
2. Added extra artifacts and two large areas with bonuses.
3. Added spooky and deadly guys. Made some other minor improvements to Empire army.

well there are in the bottom of the map where there the 2 gate ways and a bunch of gold.
i might replay the map once i am in the mood to pick up the save again. but i am pretty sure that there is nothing more...

Regarding secrets - there should be some available actually. I'll consider adding few more.

for players playing this map: it is a fun map not too hard and not easy enough to be boring.
it actually gave me a sence of balance no section was out of place dificulty wise when compared to the rest of the map. plenty places to claim and plenty of time to build up your base, the only thing that even saddent me is the lack of artifacts or even secrets. this map is straight-forward it gives you a goal to accomplish and gives you many ways how to do it.


for creator: just fix the claimable inhibitors and your map will be 9/10 i for sure know i wouldnt be able to do better, good work.

this was probably not intended but i found a map breaking glitch

so i played a long time without saving i had the victory in my hands but i went for a bit to my base to sort something out meanwhile my minion has claimed one of the inhibitors i later disvored that one more was also claimable which was not inteded at this point i was fucked since my last save was BEFORE i even started conquering the fortress.

I'd like to point out that map will have the name with 2.0 in the game list despite workshop showing 2.1. This is known issue since Editor can't change map's name without importing it first and then uploading as new map.

Regarding map itself - try to unsubscribe and check if map disappeared from the Scenario list. If it didn't, go to your maps folder ( Steam\userdata\51923335\230190\remote ), find the map name and delete it from there. This will uninstall the map physically so it won't appear anymore. Once done, try resubscribing, it will download the fresh and proper copy to your pc.

No auto-update (unsubscribed/subscribed, deleted *all* my save games - nothing works). The update mechanism is completely FUBAR. (Whoever is responsible for this mess: FUCK YOU!) Steam always gives me "Authored Version 2.0", which BTW (*now*, wasn't so when I first played the map) is (growingly) laggy right from the start and suffers from heavy FPS drops (down to 30 FPS and below even *before* attacking the great northern fortress) unlike your other maps.

I believe if you are subscribed to it, it does auto-update like a normal map on it's own.

I also changed the cinematic sequence which reveals inhibitors so it's now much better and takes almost no time anymore.

I had several cut scenes saying the way to the fortress was open, but only one tile was filled. I had to give up when I'd cleared everything on my side but I was still unable to cross as there was just a void.

Cut scene procs when you kill all minor wizards. I'm sorry it caught you in the middle of the fight, however I believe it's important one as it tells player what has happened. Also, there's currently no way to check if there player is in the middle of the combat so I can't prevent it from happening at such moment. Sorry about that.

Hm, cut scenes while the game is running and my minions are fighting? C'mon man! :steamfacepalm: That's IMNSHO a really bad idea, did'nt like it at all. Other than that a fun map. :steamhappy:
