I've made some more changes to make it more realistic. Would it be alright if i publish the mod with a link to the original in the steam description?

While i think this is a good idea. I found that the payout was too high.
Within very little time i was getting 100M+ per week and buying 100% company stock every week.
So made a slight modification to lower the payout to 1% of the original amount.

Fun strategy I've been using this one for is using investor money to buy competitor stock and the dividends from the stock to pay back investors.... I may be violating a few ethics rules.

@cmd_covid thats a base game feature just buy all the shares and then merge it into your own I believe

@FunkyScotsman when you say you own your whole company you don't earn money from your own only other companies that you buy shares in

@FunkyScotsman do you have shares within a company? Dividends should pay every Sunday and should show a notification and display a gain within the financial list view. Is this not the case?

@Luci are you playing in Russian, if the game language is set to Russian it will change the spelling.

Why is it written Vyplata dividentov instead of Dividend Payout?

@Shiono_the_Shade have you checked the transaction screen and the notification? I have tried this with the latest version and is working

I haven't seen anything ingame that would make me think this mod is working so... is it updated to the new Full Release? I have no clue what version that is or if I have to have any minimums for when the dividends end up coming in....?

Update has now been pushed for the latest version of Startup company

Version 28 is mow out so hopefully the update is for that version

I also feel that adjusting the dividends a bit, for now it's a simple "sandbox mode".
if you start the game normally, but put most your money in one of the top ten companies you can't go bankrupt unless you expand very fast without gaining income.

I have a test game with dividends, and by day 400 I'm earning more than one million per 7 days in dividends alone.

Although making the game more challenging I wouldn't put this in unless maybe a once in a blue moon challenge...E.G. You receive an email from the Board of the company telling Share holders they want to pause dividend payments to share holders as they want to invest more money into the company" ------------ That happens IRL although not recieving money untill a certain % doesn't.

Great Idea though, if used as a challenge. Or even as an extra option to make the game more challenging.

Glad you removed dividend payments after merging. makes much more sence.
Simple mods like this that should of been added originally into the game. It's also people like you that make the game as great as it is because of these mods.

Merged Companies Update:
• Merged companies no longer give dividend payments (Suggested by @Firewall, thanks)
• I have also cleaned up the code a little

Please let me know if you think this is the right move or I will revert ASAP.

@Firewall thanks for teh suggestion, this is something that I have thought about after the merge, yeah will have a look into this and see if I can make some slight alterations. Maybe even a new screen with some fancy sliders liek you say. Appreciate the feedback though thanks

@_HeN_ I've noticed that after i've bought 100% of a company and have merged it with mine, I still have dividend profit. Not sure if that's how it's suposed to work, but assuming the bought company no longer exists, there's no logic in have profit, do you agree?

@Kongjie as mentioned in my earlier comment you get them on Sunday 00:00 but you have to have shares first. Hope that helps

when? when does it give me dividends? i noticed no difference
