Documentation like this does not exist currently! You'd need to dig in to ODF files or do your own testing.

Is there any documentation on the weapons I get read anywhere. ie. What is the damage vs armor types and the ammo cost and reload times ?

I absolutely love this mod: it offers great variety and replayability to the stock BZCC scene. These new Scion vehicles crafted by Scrappool, redistributed weapons, and the inclusion of legacy ISDF units seen in mods, really makes this a well-treated and overall wonderfully crafted mod :). I absolutely love revisiting this mod as it's probably the best vanilla overhaul done in all the right ways. :BZCCRecyler:

What might be an awesome addition, is the inclusion of the complete Hadean assets and AIPs - at that point this mod would be unstoppable. :BZCCTank:

I love the mod, it's a blast to play through in campaign or MPI. This mod is my go-to mod for BZII.

I was wondering about how to best use the infantry flares and the pods for ships?

When I play ISDF vrs SCION the AI's Jammer prevents one from targeting. Well ok. When I play SCION vrs ISDF my Jammer does nothing and they bomb the .... out of me. The AI has a totally unfair advantage.

As much as I don't like this games campaign, this mod is making a play through much more tolerable. The inclusion of an ISDF Light Tank has been very helpful. The textures a bit... weird at times. Notably the new scion building has stretched textures on the inside. Otherwise it's a great mod that does improve the game quite a bit :)

Finally got around to updating with a few of the things I've been working on (on and off) for the last few years. This includes adding the Satchel (among many, many other weapons) to the Biometal Variant, Subatomic ;).

Thank you very much. a generous discord member made this mod: Biometal Recycler w/ Satchel. I have no idea why they were so kind but I am very grateful. My friends recently played with the satchel and both plants were disarmed before they went off. It was a lot of fun sending my pilots on that suicide mission because we were well behind already.

Subatomic- these aren't included in the variants I don't believe and therefore aren't available in ST, however they are vanilla. If I recall, they are rather strong, but I can look into adding them!

Hello @ScrapPool. How can I use the Satchel and the Da Bomb equipment outside of the IA map ScrapPool's playground? Specifically ST in Multiplayer.

Also the rocket bomb from the default interceptor is the worst weapon in the game... and it's even an assault weapon! You could change that with the Rocket that is present on the Scrappy's Playground (the crate it's also called "Rocket Bomb" but when on the ship it's only "Rocket")... that's really good and feels like the original bz1 bomber! Anyway very cool mod ;)

Great Mod Scrap! Keep up the good work! I love your big maps for MPI very nice I'm still waiting on a nice big dark planet/core MPI map The one you have is good i just want a huge one for lots of territory taking and possible thug commander use. Regardless the rest is very nice! BTW the Island map wouldn't work for me keep getting a file error when trying to launch.

It is! This includes all my original maps. It will also include stuff that I originally make but instead have tweaked/upgraded for BZCC once the competition has compete, like Island, Wugs AIPs, etc. I'll also include modified versions of those same AIPs so that the AI can use Wardens, Scarabs, Interceptors, and the new weapons.

Rules dictate that everything be original to me for the competition though, so that's all ive included for now. More coming soon!

That's the word on the street- and they're awesome assets! I've actually only been at this particlar aspect for about a month an a half, so I'm happy to hear from the pro. (Mapping and weapons, however, I've been around the block at least once) I think I've got some progress on the gloss, might be able to update soon.

When it comes to getting these things boned/skinned/animated properly (read: at all), that's when I'll really come calling. Would love to hear about your workflows there.

Also, for all, I'll be changing the plasma tower to a sonic tower- hope no one was super in love with ole plasmey.

Make sure materials have a diffuse value of 0.8 thats what I used.
Correct, gloss is in the alpha of spec map.

Indeed, they do seem a bit dull- spec maps admittedly didn't get much love. Gloss is the alpha on the spec map right?

Also, any idea why things seem darker in general, even on things that I didn't re-uvw/retexture? (Kiln parts of Enclave, for instance...) Could values in max affect that?

Joining what gametype? There shouldn't be anything that would cause any additional latency compared to a stock game. (No custom scripting.)

This is amazing stuff. Not only did you bring back some of the classic weapons, you've also introduced new ones that fit right into the BZ universe and are really fun to use. The Scion vehicles are also very fitting aesthetically, and fill in some niche weapon combos I don't find in other ships (Rockets/Cannons/Motar all in one!). I see a lot of work was put into the Scions, and I also notice some interesting things for the ISDF as well. And good map variety to top it all off. Great job!

I love the scion weapons you made, some of them are really great, i found the scion barrage pilot weapon is waaay op tho. is the new scion building supposed to be selectable? i selected it and it's just a building, maybe try canSelect = 0 under your gameObjectClass if you don't want it to be selectable, that might be the wrong odf code though but i'm pretty sure it's the right one.

I've only tried the Hephestus map thus far, everything looks good, nice work!

there's a problem with the ISDF, the recycler can build two constructors and there is no visible difference between them, I think i figured out which one you meant to have in there, i believe the one that you're trying to use for your RV is placed overtop where the tug is, buildItem4 should be the tug and buildItem5 should be the constructor.
