Description
A mod pack that adds multiple new vehicles, buildings, and weapons to BZCC! Plus all maps and content from the Biometal Map Pack!

UPDATED 041823:
Added a remastered Brawler (Scion Bomber), the Puma (ISDF Light Tank), and Nadir (ISDF Drone). Added the Crubex Gun and Saturn Battery, Sonic Rocket, and 20 variations of infantry weapons (ISDF Flares and Bays, Scion Beacons and Cells), allowing tanks to call in 5 different kinds of infantry to the Battlezone (careful, its not cheap!). Added a new map, Old Dream for IA, MPI, ST, and STCTF. Included the fine classic map reformulations by SirBrambley. Added remote satellite functionality for both factions. Added 2 fully-functioning AIPs at 3 difficulty levels each to allow the AI to use the new vehicles and buildings in the mod. Updated weapon graphics on many weapons and materials to create a more vanilla-friendly experience. See patch notes for more details!

DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS
To download the mod, hit the "Subscribe" button and launch BZCC. Navigate to the Mods menu and select "Biometal Recycler Variant and Mod Pack", and "Activate Mod".

WAYS TO PLAY
This content can be played by selecting the "Biometal Variant" in the recycler variant menu for IA, ST, and MPI, tested on Scrappy's Playground (an instant action map which is included and used to develop this mod), or played in Dunegrass, a deathmatch map on which only weapons from the Biometal Mod Pack spawn. All new maps can be played with the Biometal Variant as well!

NOTES
After the mod competition has completed, these assets will be split out into separate mods to allow use in other mods, and in combination with map packs.

All content in this mod pack was created by SrapPool. Jungle and Island are based on ZST Jungle and BattleIsle by the BZ2CP Team and {bac}MalevolencE respectively; both maps received large updating and substantial tweaks, but will be promptly removed upon request by the original author. If you would like to incorporate an aspect of this mod in your own mod, please feel free to reach out, and I can send over or publish self-contained packages of whatever you'd like.

Thanks to Rocket3497 and Aegeis for bug hunting/reports. Special thanks to Ded10c, GeneralBlackDragon, Nielk1, and the usual suspects for driving the BZ2 community through the years and being great resources for modding know-how.

Special thanks to SirBrambley (textures) and Cygnus (model) for bringing the Nadir to life in BZCC!

Please comment with any issues or bugs you find!

Thanks for the response

Documentation like this does not exist currently! You'd need to dig in to ODF files or do your own testing.

Is there any documentation on the weapons I get read anywhere. ie. What is the damage vs armor types and the ammo cost and reload times ?

I absolutely love this mod: it offers great variety and replayability to the stock BZCC scene. These new Scion vehicles crafted by Scrappool, redistributed weapons, and the inclusion of legacy ISDF units seen in mods, really makes this a well-treated and overall wonderfully crafted mod :). I absolutely love revisiting this mod as it's probably the best vanilla overhaul done in all the right ways. :BZCCRecyler:

Scrappool has done an excellent job! :BZCCISDF:
What might be an awesome addition, is the inclusion of the complete Hadean assets and AIPs - at that point this mod would be unstoppable. :BZCCTank:

I love the mod, it's a blast to play through in campaign or MPI. This mod is my go-to mod for BZII.

I was wondering about how to best use the infantry flares and the pods for ships?

When I play ISDF vrs SCION the AI's Jammer prevents one from targeting. Well ok. When I play SCION vrs ISDF my Jammer does nothing and they bomb the .... out of me. The AI has a totally unfair advantage.

The maps and units in here and wonderful. Mirestorm is one of my favorite maps of all time.

As much as I don't like this games campaign, this mod is making a play through much more tolerable. The inclusion of an ISDF Light Tank has been very helpful. The textures a bit... weird at times. Notably the new scion building has stretched textures on the inside. Otherwise it's a great mod that does improve the game quite a bit :)

what are the mods that enhance singplayer campaign mode?

Finally got around to updating with a few of the things I've been working on (on and off) for the last few years. This includes adding the Satchel (among many, many other weapons) to the Biometal Variant, Subatomic ;).
