Colony Ships are no longer designable as of 3.2
Draco Lander 3 Jun, 2021 @ 10:29am
@napamathguy: This mod only makes civilian ships (science, constructor & drop ships) designable again, like before patch 2.0. If you want small weapon/pinpoint defense slots, ask CaptainX3 - creator of the NSC.

I've run this mod. Please tell me if I'm understanding this correctly.

You've added auto-update versions of the four civilian ships. We can then kit them out how we like in static versions for custom classes. (I think the regular custom versions are static?)

Are there any plans to add new modules with minor weapons (P & S, mainly)? And (it's possible you already have this and I just haven't run a game long enough to see) is it possible to create a computer that tells them "run away like Brave Sir Robin"? I've seen mods saying that Transport ships are especially bad at charging towards the enemy, for instance.

I mean 3.0.2 is coming to an end now - is this going to be compatible with 3.0.3?

this mod SHOULD BE AND USED TO BE Part of the base game
randy 27 Jun, 2020 @ 3:26am
Works fine on 2.7.2 - except the transport ship. Automatic designs for it keep appearing every time there's a new tech.
Ulon 6 May, 2020 @ 9:08am
Thank you @Draco Lander
Draco Lander 5 May, 2020 @ 7:46am
@ULON Compatibile with 2.6.3 except conise ships (for some reason you can't design them... :| )
Ulon 4 May, 2020 @ 11:38pm
Can anyone confirm this works for 2.6? I am having doubts and will keep it deactivated. It may be a compatibility issue for me though...
fred101j 18 Apr, 2020 @ 8:07am
it happens every 6 months-year ingame time
fred101j 18 Apr, 2020 @ 8:05am
there is a conflict with some armed transport mods where it instantly "upgrades" all ships to an auto generated desgin.
Draco Lander 2 Apr, 2020 @ 1:44pm
Colonise ships cannot be designed. :|

sorry about the GFW,may be next week。

Please try to reproduce it if you can. Your list of active mods on the game that hit the bug would also be helpful.
Alan 29 Feb, 2020 @ 5:39am
You might have to wait for a while. I just discarded that archive two hours ago. I tried to reproduce it, or should I give you my list of mods?
Splodgenik  [author] 29 Feb, 2020 @ 4:55am
Alan: is there a technology or tradition you researched or other event triggered after which civilian ships became unavailable or is it genuinely date based? Exactly 100 years (2300)? What mods are you using? Can you provide save game files from just before and after civilian ships became unproduceable?
Alan 28 Feb, 2020 @ 7:38pm
A hundred years later, the mod became invalid and it was impossible to produce all civilian ships.
一百年后mod失效,且直接无法生产所有民用船只
Splodgenik  [author] 28 Feb, 2020 @ 2:57pm
Happy now?
N a n a c h i 27 Feb, 2020 @ 5:48am
Ancient Gatekeeper, is this compatible with 2.5.1 at all now?
Admiral_Proudmoore 6 Dec, 2019 @ 2:24pm
@MayhemX8 Not that I don't find it cute, but the nerd in me feels the need to point out the accurate thing to do would be to name it Constitution-Class rather than Enterprise.
White Glint 12 Oct, 2019 @ 10:55pm
Will this be updated? I hate the new updates, because it's just a big restriction in my opinion.
Journeyman Prime 14 Feb, 2019 @ 11:31am
@ Not Salty Papa Yes. Me too. Hope the mod creator fixes this as I love being able to rename my human science ship class to "Enterprise-class"
Jammat31 15 Jan, 2019 @ 2:41pm
Has anyone else had problems with ai colinization ships not colonizing anymore
AncientGatekeeper 13 Dec, 2018 @ 5:43pm
Any plan to update this to 2.2?
Skullking Von Mooncrest 31 Jul, 2018 @ 9:53pm
how do i get this to work?
VS-lockon 15 Jul, 2018 @ 1:23pm
nvm i fond out why
VS-lockon 15 Jul, 2018 @ 1:18pm
pre ftl mod dont work with this mod
Splodgenik  [author] 10 Jul, 2018 @ 3:54pm
@Lazerguy: it's fine to subscribe to both of them and switch which one you have active.
Lazerguy 10 Jul, 2018 @ 3:37pm
Can we switch the two mods out for each other?
Splodgenik  [author] 10 Jul, 2018 @ 3:26pm
@mzilli: I think that's either because you have the auto-update checkbox on the right hand side of the ship designer ticked for that design, or a Stellaris bug/quirk where it switches designs to the most recent core ship components (reactor/FTL/thruster/sensor/computer) even if you have that checkbox unticked.
Splodgenik  [author] 10 Jul, 2018 @ 3:19pm
@Lazerguy: They're separate mods, you don't need to have the other mod to use this one. In fact they're not designed to be compatible with each other, no guarantees on what happens if you try to have them both active at once.
Lazerguy 10 Jul, 2018 @ 2:54pm
Also, if we had the Designable Civilian Ships installed, can we deactivate that and activate this without any issues, or is this just an addon to the other Designable Civilian Ships?
Lazerguy 10 Jul, 2018 @ 2:51pm
@mzilli It's only supposed to upgrade the designs, not the actual ships.
mzilli 1 Jun, 2018 @ 3:47pm
Odd... this seems to be auto-upgrading my designs, but not the ships themselves.
Pantæra 16 May, 2018 @ 4:07pm
Thank you a lot for this mod. I hated the auto upgrade. I even like bringing my science vessles back to port manually, since it really feels like they've been on an epic journey, then getting a much needed upgrade back home.
tilarium 7 May, 2018 @ 10:17pm
@derelictdreamer I've got a very large compliment of mods including NSC as the main ship mod and have 0 problems with compatability.
rye 7 May, 2018 @ 9:53pm
Is there any mod class this is generally incompatible with?
Socialist_Bismarck 27 Apr, 2018 @ 6:25am
Ok, thanks
tilarium 26 Apr, 2018 @ 8:47pm
Yes. NSC doesn't really touch the civilian ships. Can even use it with the armored transport mod, infact you'll need this (or similar) mod to use it.
Socialist_Bismarck 26 Apr, 2018 @ 3:24pm
Is this compatible with nsc?
Kellen 24 Apr, 2018 @ 9:31pm
I allways wondered why they got rid of this in vanilla.
tilarium 23 Apr, 2018 @ 10:12am
Switching from your previous version to this one.
