@Texan Shober With A Shotgun in parka's book Janitors of the Late Space Age he describes the ships built by the space-born peoples of the asteroid belt as being bathyscaphes, so basically space submarines I guess.
speeks 26 Mar, 2019 @ 4:57pm
Bork. And Bathyscaphes are... Submarines right?
Firestorm🗿 2 May, 2018 @ 3:47am
We need more bathyscaphes on the workshop and the only two are made by parkasever!

I took this blueprint and put it on the moon to find it only had atmospheric engines. So I stripped it down and made them hydrogen. It's much heavier but more able to deal with any environment. I did add another battery to the rover part as well.

This may be too 'pricy' to you but I'm at a point in my survival game where that's not much of an issue. If you're interested in the hydrogen version of the doggo, I'm willing to share it.

I tried to stay true to your design. Looks mostly the same. :)

@Prebz - It's related to material cost in survival mode. There is no definite math behind it, but I try to compare the size/effectivness with how "expensive" components I use. This model has two batteries, so I guess this means it is a bit more pricey than I would like it.
Prebz111 1 May, 2018 @ 3:22pm
question, so whats the deal with the cost and the 3 dots after i dont have a frame of reference for them so what do they mean in cost? What does 1 dot mean whats does 5 mean?

I hope you someday discover Castalia House, and they become your fiction publisher.

Keep writing.

I celebrated Earth Day by burning a giant pile of tires and singing "Happy Birthday" to Vladimir Lenin, because it's his birthday.

Man, don't have money for the book right now, but would love to read it. No, I'm not asking for a free copy, matter of fact, I'm not going to even try to search for a free copy because I want to support you, I'll be able to get the book soon hopefully! Looks promising!
Netts 29 Apr, 2018 @ 2:56am
How long is the book?
Tyo Atrosa 28 Apr, 2018 @ 11:05am
definately gonna try this one, think is should work extremely well with the DAS script with very minimal modification. always love your vanilla designs.

some secondary nacelles with vector thrusters would probably work very well as well.

That's a good drono.
parkasever  [author] 25 Apr, 2018 @ 4:39pm
@StfAlx - Thank you for testing it. Keep the nose of the aircraft above the level of the horizon and you should have a little bit of backward thrust needed for re-attaching.

@Lord Wraith SOL3 - I see from reports that people in UK can get the book as normal. Now I've checked amazon.uk and you can find it over there. There are verified reviews so others made it. If all else fails - let me know and I'll send a copy.
Deathlok-L17 25 Apr, 2018 @ 1:39pm
very cool!

I really like the narrow front!
Nonexistent 25 Apr, 2018 @ 10:46am
Does it come with a Doge? xD
Lex 25 Apr, 2018 @ 10:13am
It's awesome, it's cute, as a land vehicle it's very maneuverable but as an aircraft, for example it's very hard to land exactly on the merge block, without backwards thrust. But damn it it's cute! Liked / Faved / Subbed ! Well done! :steamhappy:
Lord Wraith SOL3 25 Apr, 2018 @ 9:49am
great design as normal, love your work, would like to read your book but can not get it on amazon in the uk any ideas

I love this! The part about the detaching upper section is magnificent, might have a go at a similar design for the LOLs, just so creative!
