thanks

This only replaces sounds for weapons identical/similar to the ones in PUBG. Since PUBG doesn't really have an MP40, no MP40 here. And since this game doesn't have a Glock 18 or Deagle in the vanilla game, no Glock 18 or Deagle here.
Bauhinia_K 30 Jun, 2019 @ 11:29pm
P18C and Deagle , anyone ?
Jennifer Lawrence 7 May, 2019 @ 6:28pm
Hey, i got them separated. Had trouble with the SKS for some reason but everything works. Thanks for uploading.
Ed  [author] 7 May, 2019 @ 6:07pm
Yeah go right ahead, I'm just lazy
Jennifer Lawrence 7 May, 2019 @ 11:58am
Ahh, i see. So you wouldn't mind if I went ahead and did that for you?
Ed  [author] 7 May, 2019 @ 5:07am
See end of mod description

Have you thought about making a post for individual sounds? Would love to have the Beryl and groza on their own.
Ed  [author] 8 Apr, 2019 @ 3:57am
Yep, there's at least a thousand separate files in there. Have fun!
radpas1213 8 Apr, 2019 @ 3:55am
thanks! that worked, but its so hard to find and identify the sounds xD
Ed  [author] 8 Apr, 2019 @ 3:28am
look for weapon.bnk and weapons.bnk, those are the ones you want, delete everything else then run a bnk extractor (can get one from github) then use wwise unpacker by vextil to extract and convert the files to either mp3 or ogg (ogg is better because lossless format, google if you dunno what it means)

You can also extract sounds from the other bnk files but I dunno what you could use them for.
radpas1213 8 Apr, 2019 @ 1:53am
how do u convert the uasset and uexp files to pck or bnk?
radpas1213 6 Apr, 2019 @ 6:23pm
nvm the websites working again
Ed  [author] 6 Apr, 2019 @ 4:07pm
that's the one that I used, it worked fine for me. When you say it doesn't work what do you mean? Crashes your computer? Gives an error message? etc.
radpas1213 5 Apr, 2019 @ 11:20pm
can you send me the quickbms with unreal tournament 4 script? the one from aluigi.org does'nt seem to work
Ed  [author] 2 Apr, 2019 @ 10:58pm
quickbms with unreal tournament 4 script, then use a bnk to ogg converter
radpas1213 2 Apr, 2019 @ 4:00am
what did you use to extract the pubg sounds?
Ed  [author] 30 Mar, 2019 @ 7:55pm
This mod doesn't have any textures or models, it's just audio. The only model replacer I can find on the workshop replaces the AKS-74u with the AUG.

This mod doesn't have AUG audio either.
radpas1213 30 Mar, 2019 @ 7:41am
if there are Aug A3 to Galil skin i can just change the files to get the Aug in there but there is no Aug A3 to Galil skin :(
Ed  [author] 28 Mar, 2019 @ 6:34pm
Added MP5K audio, also updated the UMP unsuppressed audio since PUBG changed the UMP9 to the UMP45.
Ed  [author] 20 Mar, 2019 @ 3:47pm
Sorry, only doing vanilla guns and as far as I'm aware there's not even a PP-19 mod in the workshop
Bauhinia_K 18 Mar, 2019 @ 2:35pm
can you make updates with AUG / PP-19 for AUG-A3 / PP-19-01 skins
Appolinaria 24 Feb, 2019 @ 6:01am
Indeed
Ed  [author] 24 Feb, 2019 @ 2:48am
oooh it seems like the MP5K might show up in PUBG in the future...this'll be interesting.
Appolinaria 22 Feb, 2019 @ 5:36pm
Damn thanks for the sound files, literally been searching everywhere for them but only found crappy recorded directly from the game
Ed  [author] 16 Feb, 2019 @ 11:26pm
AK74 shouldn't kill your hearing now. Perceived loudness should now be similar to that of the AKM.
Ed  [author] 10 Nov, 2018 @ 3:55pm
Only weapon sounds and explosions sorry. These are the raw audio files for weapon effects since PUBG uses an audio system somewhat similar to BF3 in that individual files are put together on the fly to create sounds based on the current environment (e.g. indoors or outdoors, in a forest, on open plains etc). PUBG's system is a bit more simplistic but same approach.

Also, there's like 1050 or something OGG files in there, have fun

Corvas 24 Oct, 2018 @ 10:35am
I figured out the problem i actually was subscribed to one weapon sound mod for the makarov and completely forgot :p
Ed  [author] 19 Oct, 2018 @ 10:53pm
Maybe the server changed sv_pure? See what the dev console says, usually if it's a mod conflict it'll tell you which files are conflicting from which VPKs. In your case it might output a different error.
Corvas 19 Oct, 2018 @ 9:06pm
Only other sound altering mod i use is a footstep overhaul mod, the gun sounds from this mod where working fine a few days ago but now the game only plays vanilla gun sounds, and when it was working the game seemed to randomly pick and choose which sounds to use. Sometimes it would play vanilla gun sounds when i joined a server and sometimes it would use the sounds from this mod. I only really play on default theatres as my mod list only works on non modded servers and i usually join the same servers so im not too sure what the issue is.
Ed  [author] 19 Oct, 2018 @ 7:43pm
When you say it doesn't work, no sounds at all or just the vanilla sounds? Check if there's any conflicts, assuming you have other audio mods installed and forgotten about
Corvas 19 Oct, 2018 @ 4:17am
Not sure why but the mod doesn't work for me anymore even when i type snd_restart in console and even tried redownloaded the mod.
Ed  [author] 12 Oct, 2018 @ 6:53am
cry to the pubg devs not me lol
Zephyroku 11 Oct, 2018 @ 3:28pm
My farts have more bass then these gun sounds, unsubbed that crap.
Ed  [author] 23 Sep, 2018 @ 6:22pm
Hmm, works fine for me, even when I go into private browsing mode
Jodul 22 Sep, 2018 @ 2:49am
Actually, Can you post a media fire link or something? It actually won't download from expirebox...
Jodul 22 Sep, 2018 @ 2:25am
Alright, that's fine. Is there a reason the files won't download, though?
Ed  [author] 22 Sep, 2018 @ 12:57am
And I forgot to mention, since there's no SDK I have zero clue as to which audio is used for what unless I listen to it and compare it to what's on youtube videos/the pubg wiki, so quite a few of those files you will likely have zero idea wtf they do. I still can't find the suppressed tommygun audio in those files.
Ed  [author] 22 Sep, 2018 @ 12:54am
short gunshot sounds (for when weapons are firing full auto/as fast as they can cycle),
long gunshot sounds (for single shots), both suppressed and unsuppressed,
stereo channel gunshot sounds (when you're shooting a gun)
mono channel gunshot sounds (when someone else is shooting a gun)
distant gunshot sounds
reload sounds
explosions for red zone and other stuff
odd sounds which are layered on top of gunshots which give them their distinct in-game report (the kar98's suppressed audio sounds really badass when it has the correct bass layer added)
plus what I call 'tail' sounds - after a gunshot, that trailing noise/echo you hear as the sound travels into the distance.

And there's multiple versions of sounds too, so the M16A4 doesn't have the exact same sound every time it fires. Have fun!

Ed  [author] 22 Sep, 2018 @ 12:54am
This mod only has gunfire audio, nothing else. There's ways to extract the audio straight out of the game files themselves but I'm not keen on discussing that here since people have in the past, at least before Bluehole patched it, have extracted files, modified then repacked them to gain an unfair advantage. You can still pull stuff but at least you can't cheat with it now, at least to my knowledge.

I just remembered about expirebox so I can upload it there. 48 hours till the zip gets deleted,There's 1194 files which consist of:
Jodul 22 Sep, 2018 @ 12:27am
Ah, right. It's just cause I wanted the reload sounds too. Saves me from having to download all of the sounds from the PUBG Game Wiki, and thus having to go all the way through the sounds to find the reloads and cut them down in audacity.
Ed  [author] 21 Sep, 2018 @ 7:33pm
You can download the file then go to steamapps/workshop/content/222880/ and then look for the file ID, you can get this from the workshop item's URL - in this case it'd be 1372331756.

Copy the file to some other place if you want to unsubscribe as unsubscribing will remove the file. Open it up with GCFScape and you can then extract the files in their pure, unadulterated format.
Jodul 21 Sep, 2018 @ 1:28pm
Hi, I just want to ask, is it possible for you to send me the weapon sound files? I'm creating a mod, that uses some of PUBGs Weapon sounds, and well, It's a pain for me. I have to go ingame, find the weapons in question, take them to a quiet location, and record, and cut them down. This really wouldn't be an issue for me if I didn't end up having the files sounds being muffled. You don't have to help me, but it really would be appreciated.
Ed  [author] 15 Sep, 2018 @ 8:02pm
AK-74 now uses Mk47 Mutant audio instead of the Beryl M762
Ed  [author] 2 Sep, 2018 @ 7:45pm
I'm not too keen on maintaining 19 separate files, especially since I'm already lazy to begin with. I can safely say that I spend more time modding my games than actually playing them (thanks Fallout 3 and New Vegas :D) and I kinda want to change that lol.

If you've already downloaded the file, go to steamapps/workshop/content/222880/ and then look for the file ID, you can get this from the workshop item's URL - in this case it'd be 1372331756.

Copy the file to some other place if you want to unsubscribe as unsubscribing will remove the files. Open it up with GCFScape and you can then extract the files and remove any you don't want, then recompile it into a vpk using vpk.exe in steamapps/common/insurgency2/bin/. If you're not sure about this step there's quite a few guides floating around on how to make your own VPK mods.

Could you make one for M416 sound only?
Becuz i love hk416 sound in pubg and i'm so thankful to u about that

Ed  [author] 31 Aug, 2018 @ 9:51pm
@Dgsonic I'm not too sure...it kinda sounds odd on the MP5.
Sakura Bakushin O 31 Aug, 2018 @ 7:05pm
