There is also one or 2 that do the same here on the workshop but like I said the problem is that the animations and textures are baked into the cinematic models, you can't do anything else with them besides what's already present there sadly.

I downloaded a mods from aom.heaven and tested it, the toxotes appear just like the cinematic, but their attack animation is so bug that it was not worth it anymore...

That's impossible to do because the cinematic models have their own separate anim versions.

They have their own animations and so forth, you can't edit them. However you can still play with them normally, there even exist mods on the workshop here for that although they look a bit weird when in comparison to the normal units.

can you update Toxotes to be similar to cinematic please?

I actually thought about having them be random like the Phalangites from the Macedonian Phalanx mod so they're basically never the same, well almost that is.

Adds a little bit of an immersion since equipment as far as I'm aware was mixed most of the time and it only really somewhat became standardized during Rome's reign since each person didn't need to provide his own gear anymore and the state started taking care of it compared to how the Greeks did it before.

I'll still need to brush up on my ancient history tho since it's been a while.

Looking at this again, I just noticed that the texture looks surprisingly great on the rest of the Greek units.

Not that I'm actually going to do this with the Greek units in EM lol, variety is the spice of life after all.
