Thank you for this beautiful mod.
Do you have any plans on recoloring and adding more variation to the units too? The units look a little too drab at the moment imo but these new shields really make them pop - especially because the colors are so varied.
Can i have my round shield back :)

@UCAV thanks for the compliments! I entirely agree.
@UCAV Uniform coloring, if I do tackle it, will be as a seperate mod. It makes more sense to me that way.
When the scottish shields are done, they will probably be decently accurate, since there is a decent amount of period art for pictish shield designs.
Certainly the heterogenous appearance is more authentic than the uniformed masses of shields we see in the vanilla version.
Alongside the Welsh and Irish shields, i'll be doing a few tweaks to tone down of the weirder color combinations in my original shield sets. I think, after working around on this mod, that a lot of the colors would look better if they were more muted.
Welsh shield patterns - I'm using a lot of Romano-British symbols here to fit with the image of the Welsh as the 'heirs' of the Roman tradition in Britain, plus some reinterpreting of welsh national symbols in roman styles.
