This mod still works great. The only problem I've noticed is that Holy Sentinels have a higher bounty than Paladins for some reason.

Had it before started a new game in the desert between uc and hn and thought wonder what happen to it and i finally found it again. So thanks for a small but great improving mod.

You have our Motherland's approval.

@Chairman Kim, this mod is compatible insofar as it just tweaks a value on vanilla characters (UC Samurai, HN Paladin, etc). If those other mods add further, new character types to the game, then they won't have the bounties. If, for example, HN Ascended adds a 'Super Paladin' character leading some squads, that character won't have the bounty. But if that mod just improves or changes the vanilla Paladin character (upping stats, adding equipment, changing when and where they spawn) then they'll still have the bounty. You can test it quickly with the UC and HN peasant starts, just take a look if the soldiers have bounty amounts.

Hi jbra1, just found your mod from reddit. Is this still being updated and compatible with other big game changing mods such as General Modification, United Cities Heightened, The Holy Nation Ascended and Shek Kingdom Augmented ? Thanks!

Yeah I was thinking it was a bit low too for the effort of defeating and turning everyone in. Doubling should be perfect.
jbra1  [author] 1 Aug, 2018 @ 2:11am
Updated. Bounties all doubled. Should be worth your while now.

@Donny T. Thanks a million for that feedback! Expect an update soon.

Having used the mod for a bit, I'm actually thinking that the bounties are much too low. Now, I am using mods which make mobs stronger, so that is going to affect how I think about balancing challenge with reward, but I really think that the bounty rewards should be doubled. This would allow war to be reasonably profitable on it's own. To me, defeating a team of 10 guys (holy nation chosen ones) just to cash out for 5000 gold seems like not enough of an incentive. If it was only doubled, the 10k reward seems reasonable but still low considering how much time it would take for the player to consistently defeat and then haul in a series of enemy squads. This way, the player could steadily grow a fighting squad through fighting alone, being able to purchase a few pieces of equipment or goods per fight early on, but later on still having to go through multiple fights to afford a better piece of gear.

ok cool
jbra1  [author] 27 Jul, 2018 @ 3:24am
@Konur. It's a global change on any game.
Konur 26 Jul, 2018 @ 5:40am
So in any game there will be bounties? You just suggest to start with appropriate gear? Sorry just making sure

Yeah I thought that too. I'm not sure what triggers the AI to make arrests. I've only ever seen it done by city guards to those who commit crimes.
jbra1  [author] 15 Jul, 2018 @ 12:53am
Now I'm curious whether the AI will clean up the corpses. In my current play through I'm about to break into UC territory in the North. I'll see what's going on up there.

Yeah I'll make that my next base. For faction progression I thought it should be super slow, like just one point of relation for a dead enemy and 3 for a living one. After all, it's possible the player could just snag the corpse off the field after a fight so progression shouldn't be easy.
jbra1  [author] 14 Jul, 2018 @ 7:53pm
"Right now you'd basically have to run your own prison" Mwahaha. Yeah bring it on. Regarding the relation slide, I haven't found the time to be able to work on this for ages, but IIRC the relations I tried to amplify wasn't working - so it was still at Vanilla, which is what you want: heavy negative hit (like 25 points I think) for attacking and light boost to the faction you turn them in on (10 I think). Give it a play test and see if its too easy to get chummy with the friendly faction.

I kept the bounties lowish: the factions involved move in large squads, and didn't want it to be too OP. 1000-2000 depending on the level of the character. Turning in a squad should net you 10k+. By the time you are leveled up enough to lay waste to HN or UC squads, money's not a huge issue.Just a minor incentive structure to make that play style more rewarding, and let you feel more like you're taking sides.

Love to see screenshots of the POW camp you build!

Woah I'm glad I found this mod. This sounds like exactly what this game needs. It sounds like it will be great in combination with the mod which adds more large patrols at war with each other, plus another which beefs up the soldiers.

You should definitely expand this to more factions but I don't think Sheks should offer bounties for everyone just because they're grumps. Maybe just one or two opposing factions. Also I haven't tried it yet but I hope that the bounty rewards are balanced and the faction relationship progression isn't too fast. I want to have to bring a hundred corpses at least before I max out relation.

The only issue I see is especially if you're fighting increased sized mobs, you could end up filling all the cages at the HQ bounty office. Right now you'd basically have to run your own prison and then travel to all the numerous cities to offload every bounty. Maybe that's fair, though.

Looking forward to this.

Let us know how it works! Would especially like to know if the bounty amounts are well balanced. I figured you'd need a small squad to take on a HN/UC patrol, and thus be able to carry four or five of them to collect at least. Didn't want to make it too OP, but if it ends up not being worth the trouble/risk/cost as a sustainable way of playing the game, I'll tweak them. Or if it's too easy to make crazy money, well, that too.

really like this idea I'll let you know my experience
