Super cool to see a fully fleshed out custom faction, sad that it seems there aren't proper and full mod tools to create/insert custom assets, but this is as good as it gets for custom factions. Here's hoping Endless Legend 2 will have better mod support!

Hi @starkiller - The Architects are limited to one Factory City, so the only way to really 'gain' a new region would be to take one over. Though that's not the intended way to play them, it should be possible if I remember

You only need to duplicate the carpet in "Localization" named "English" with your current language.
In my case I duplicate it and named it "Spanish". That solves the problem

@oloaleplayer1 There's a complex answer to that question, unfortunately! My recommendation is to look at the mod that's downloaded - everything is in .xml. You should find a Localization folder with all of the 'writing'. Replacing it with a language of your choice and testing it should be a good idea

Couldn't compleate the first mission for the same convoluted text as usual (%unitname-...), tried to switch to english and all is fixed, apparently any other languages will "destroy" the messages.

@oloaleplayer1 They do a number of things, which I tried to highlight in the quest tutorials.

Essentially you can't build the related unit without having one researched and built. Think of it like each unit requires a special factory in the city to produce.

Apart for the convoluted long names, didn't found glitch and such, however it's not very clear the distinction between various distrct (artillery, vitruvian...), do they buff the units?

@matiasnimis124 Hey, thanks! Glad to hear you like them! As for strategy, yes, you want to make sure to quickly get collectors early on when you can afford to. If you can't get the right start, that's okay! Purchasing resources from the market is what I typically do. You can also try the ruins, but the it's not really a strategy you can rely on.

so i feel real stupid but i feel like im missing something do thay have any way of useing minor faction similer to the cult or mysilia kuz i tryed them out maby 2 3 quick game and i cant real get how other thne gettling luck and pulling both titanim and glass steel form runin quest or start to get the collecters. sorry if i may seem a bit simple but i may just be bline XD other than that i real love both your faction there real cool concepts

I do have a couple of mods running yes. Maybe the one reworking the skill tree. I am currently quite long in a game, but will have a look which one may cause it afterwards.

@kinnigrimm I remember not finding an easy way - or any way at all - to keep the hero from appearing in the market, unfortunately. Though I haven't personally noticed them showing up without the actual faction being on the map.

As for the name issue, sounds like a conflict somewhere - or maybe an issue with recent updates. Are you using any other mods?

Saw one of your heroes in the recruitable hero tab, even though in my current game i haven't had them choosen for myself or as enemy. That keeps heroes for those other races from spawning.
Additionally there seems to be a problem with the name as it showed the variable name, not the actual name of the hero.

That’s true, I suppose I was more thinking purely for the sake of fun rather than balance haha.
Perhaps a suitably hefty cost/requirement/upkeep for the unit could do the trick? Either way it would make for one blast of a Morgawr playthrough.

@clong666 Definitely sounds like it would be. That sounds like a graphics conflict. It should stop if you disable the re-skin or change priorities.

Hi Mazu, love your concept of your mod. Though, I have encounter a bug that prevent me from equipping my units, as it the screen locked upon applying changes. I can't leave the page once it happens. I have a re skin mod on, can it be the cause of it?

I'm getting a bug when using your faction mods which prevents me from placing the golem camp when playing as kapaku, strangely enough.

@Dragonsheepling The only thing that should change between English and German should be the text - which of course I only know and can support English, so please do not expect a version of this mod in another language. However the game should still function normally. Do you have any other mods active?

It's possible that there's a difference on a deeper level between the two language options for the game. If so that's very odd.

There seems to be a Complication with this Mod and the German Version of the game. By what i've seen Models aren't renderd Correcty, Names arent Shown in the correct manner and the Gameplay of the Faction doesnt work atall when it comes to the stuff added in the Shifters DLC.

You can change the language of the game by Rightclicking your game in the Library and then going to Options and then Language. On my PC its repatable. Pls fix for the ones not so Comfy with English.

@KiritoIRC: About the Quest, it looks like this Quests is one that is prevented from being given to the Broken Lords and the Forgotten for this reason. Ideally the Architects should also be on this list. I can fix that in the next quest, but it would just prevent the quest from being given to them.

About population: It can't be done, unfortunately. Bonus population is both for lore purposes and a workaround solution. I can look into seeing if there's a workaround for villages' population counting for the cost of the Golem Worker production.

another thing that should be done if possible: could you have the population increase be done to the base population instead of the additions to the population? having conversion and converting villages affects the production costs of the "workers"

@KiritoIRC: I can take a look at it, but it's very likely that the game doesn't consider the Collectors (Or Skyfin) as resource producers. Do you know the name of the quest off-hand?

@Tiburon: I'll add it to my watch list, but it's possible that I may not be able to change that. If I can then it'll be in a future update.

Is there any way to fully close out the food section for worker assignment? I like to put my cities on auto during boring stages, but the workers keep assigning themselves to food production because the AI sees the 0 food production. You'd think the AI would notice that assigning workers there results in 0 food still anyways.

aw, IMO was a great boon to the faction considering what it did (would've made it a dimishing return myself instead of removing it if that's the plan ex: +1,+.5,+.25 etc. for each collector on a tile.)
