I love this mod in most ways but one... Im obliterating the AI in war, I have them literally surrounded by my allies, AND they have no armies... yet they are asking for 30k + gold from ME for peace... Also as the one below mentioned, you do get rather excessive amounts of Alliance offers every turn.

Great Mod in some ways. BUT, I think it gets really dumb in some ways, too. Everyone is far to friendly to me, even if I am an expansionistic asshole. Getting allianca request every turn from 3 to 4 factions is really unrealistic. This needs some balancing. If that would happen this would be a must have mod for me. Btw, I am using it with 1212 AD. Maybe that is the reason for my poor experiences with the Mod, but I can't tell for sure.

Awesome mod overall, could you just make it so ithe AI doesn't accept to become vassal or puppet as easily?

Playing with these mods (pretty much all yours except for Skidvar Generals, Skip Intro Vids and Skidvar Garrison all of which are safe)

I conquered the last territory of an AI and made them a vassal. They betrayed me _literally_ the next turn with the army I used to conquer them standing adjacent to their territory. This is frustrating in the extreme. Conquered vassals should not immediately betray their conqueror.

Using this for 1212 because that mod's diplomacy is completely dysfunctional...

could you make a version of this where all factions have access to all diplomatic options (vassalise, confederate, etc...) and occupy options (perhaps preference could be added for different AI factions or even make these player only)?

Greq; as a personal project i was throwing together a list of mods & mini-projects I call "attila: records mode" , and saw your "mod"; update ATW. Led here.
AI, last I modded, was someone else's problem ;) my philosophy was just to give the AI simpler tools to use, lol.
This looks fascinating- do you still mod?

Bug report:
Using this mod I Was offered vassalage from other nations maybe too often. like, about 4 factions wanted to be my vassals including Western Roman Empire (when they were weaker and occupying only spain). But then, on THE SAME TURN, all the ones that had become my vassals became my enemies. Then we made peace again and later on they wanted to be my vassals again. I turned off the mod and this ceased happening (same campaign, didnt start over).

update: It is more likely that AI accepts offer of diplomatic marriage even during a war. Chances of that are far more greater than in Vanilla version.

update: Improvements to initial treaties such as trade agreements , Alliances and such. This will ensure that all those treaties that has been signed before you start your campaign are stronger. For example it will hopefully help with situations where ERE very quickly breaking treaties with WRE or client states subsides like those of Sassanid Empire....

I just looked into forgotten realms. Lala-Bek unfortunately they have done that mod in such a way that it will not be easy to make a patch. I would have to dedicate one mod for that overhaul in order to make Diplomacy work fully as I intended

yes i only changed some rebellious AI to rebell less often. That's all changes I've done this time. When Im testing it with the rest of my mods that feature is still available. So it has to be some conflict with forgotten realms

This was needed to prevent player from abusing the diplomacy system. Such small amounts of money makes no sense when player gains a treaty that is worth tens of thousands or securing safety of its whole nation for generations.

I also noticed that while you can't ask for less than 1k, ai can still do that as well as offer you less than 1k in your dealings with them.

Why is not possible to ask less than 1000g in diplomatic dealings? For example if i tried to make trade agreement with some faction and their likelihood to accept is high, I think they could maybe give me some money on top of that, but since minimum amount of gold you can ask is 1k, its often too much for them. :(

AI is less willing now to cancel non aggression pact when neutral or unfriendly, unless they are unreliable ofc

Factions are now slightly more willing to declare war on each other if neutral or unfriendly.
