PA Update 15 is out of beta, so this version of CombiPack is no longer maintained.
You can still use this for the offline PA 14 build if you're playing with that of course.

Disable the attract screen in the options, it might help. Also don't click with the mouse while it's loading. If your machine can't handle it, then I can't do a thing about it.

I have no other mods and did a clean install and my game keeps crashing on the start up. Any tips?

No, dorms have a minimum requirement, otherwise the amount of prisoners doesn't fit. This can't be changed, and if you do, it will break the game.

The size of the rooms is standart? My dorm needs to be made bigger than I would like ;)

Mod update:
- changed the way BarberMirrors and BarberChairs calculate the hair strands types:

This will spawn the various types way sooner. I don't understand why the other way didn't work out for some, since I got the achievement for the hair a long time ago with the prior conditions. Anyway, you will now be able to get it much quicker than before.

I think the issue @gttlin is talking about is actually some sort of bug. I have been running the same prison for almost 15 hours real time and my 20 barber chairs/mirrors have ONLY generated blonde hair. I have not gotten a single brown or red strand. However, this issue has been pointed out on the individual mod page as well, so it may actually be a core bug, and not something to do with a conflict within your pack..

Either way, not a huge deal, still the best one click install on the entire freakin workshop! Thanks for everything you do! I hope someday the developers reach out and at the very least contract some content out to you for the vanilla game :)

ok theb i sell my prison first so i can have that achivment then i will hold it. bud my idea for cows i that somting beacus i use your garden and the only thing what there dont get is beacon. and i tink you can make a lot with cow skins to.

I could change the algorithm so impatient players get satisfied sooner, but the idea was to just click and forget about it, and get some bonus way lateron in the game since many if not all grants can be completed too soon or too easily. This one is a tough nut.

Nah, I do it with 5 or 10 and just let the grant for what it is, it will complete anyway sooner or later. But since it will take a while it's best to run it when other grants have completed.

It takes way more than only 4 hours to get this achievement. That's by design, you are just out of luck for the moment. The script is simple and random, there is no bug in it. Increase the number of scripted barber chairs or barber mirrors to get a higher chance.

somting is rong with the wig and barber mod beacus there only cut blond hair and that why there only make blond wigs. i have a big barber shop always bussy and i have run it now for 4 hours real time bud still no red brown hair and or wigs.

I used Sambot's mod before I found your Combi Pack and it is a great mod. Thank you for adding it, murgh.
I was just a bit shocked, that I got 8 snitches in less than 50 prisoners.

Anyway it's the most advanced snitch sorter which sorts out legendary and lieutenants as well as drugs addicted and alcoholics, all within a certain range. It should maybe renamed to prisoner sorter or something like that, but it's name is the last remainder of sambots original mod. :)

There is no way to do it differently. The snitch sorter checks for a property SnitchTimer and when it finds a prisoner with this setting, he is a snitch. The timer tells when he has to die. The traits and other stuff of prisoners is not reachable for modding, so I can't work around that to see if this person has ??? or things like that, even though it's a bit OP indeed.

murgh, the snitch sorter is kind of strange... it put several "unknown reputation" prisoners in protective costody... that makes it a bit OP in my opinion.

I dont now if you can make this bud is it a idea to mak a mod so that you o ly can get prisoners from a security level that is empty. Like if your min calls are all full bud your med cells are 20 left. And max cel are 10 left so that there automatically only giving the max and the med prisoners until those cells are full. In place of doing it self. Dont now if that is possible. And many more jobs like farming and butcher so there can have meat and milk for sell or for eating And making furniture of cow and sheep skins and wood. And many learn to swim so there can escape one water. Yust some ideas.

You must not press any keys or click on the window while it's loading. Also disabling the attract screen in the options is a good one, so it doesn't try to load huge prisons with a huge mod. It could also be a graphics driver issue, check for newer drivers or rollback to a previous one which might work with your hardware.

@alemismun: Prison Architect's public branch has been on the same build (i.e. version 14) as the beta branch for 26 days now. If you want to test the next beta as soon as it is released, keep it on the beta branch. If you want to make sure mods you use are compatible with the game for all the time, switch back to the public branch and only switch to beta branch once new beta is released and the mods are updated for the next beta.

Yes it works if it's on top of it, but it will be outdated soon when the limo garage gets updated. Having the default power station mod is no poblem though, because the default power station will never change.

But the ui mod and this mod would always have to be updated at the same moment if anything has to change withinin the spritebank or people will go nuts :) And then 2 instead of 1 spritebank files need to be changed, leading to possible errors and mismatches. So it's really best to have it swappable and to add the 3d icons for the rooms you need as well to the modern ui png.

You are just out of luck, so to increase your chances put a few more barbermirrors or scripted barberchairs in your barber shop. It's possible, but it can take a few days or even longer. Barber chairs produce hair strands as soon as people come for a hair cut when they need barbery, luxuries or comfort/staffcomfort. One advice: never go to the casino, you'd probably loose your money there as well :)

Mod update:

- fixed wig production grant (room name was incorrect)

- updated the Garbage removal tool in the staff menu, it now also deletes stacks of all sorts of garbage

There is no bug. Red hair is just less common. You need to wait a long time. Place scripted barber chairs in your barber shop to have more chances of getting hair strands besides from the mirrors.

I can't complete the wig production grant as only blond strands are produced in the barbershop. I will look into the mod and see if I can locate the bug.

Yeah, I was pretty deep in that prison when I finally got sick of deleting the trucks over and over to get it to stop (three seemed to be the magic number to get the loop from stopping, but next time lights or fertilizer or compost were needed, up it started again), because that was especially annoying as I was also in warden mode and it was becoming a major limiter to expanding. I wish I'd simply known not to use the mutator from the mod description.
