I have subscribed to Hard Logic and will comment in due course. Hope you can send me the correct link for Central Cavern. Cheers :)
video. dead end
If you ever do finish it you'll see that the reflector cube is an integral part of the whole thing (hence the clue in the description above).
You could make use of F6 quicksave to split it into playable chunks on different sessions.
The contrast between the first 2 parts is deliberate. Some players comment that they hate big echoing chambers and some, like you I think, dislike compact ones. You can please some of the people some of the time :)
Signs versus antlines: the trouble with the signs is that for some strange reason Valve allow only a limited number of varieties and then they just repeat, which is just confusing.
Glass walls: I did give you a glimpse ahead in the floor of the corner room with the laser.....
I hope you will finish this, and I'm afraid there are 3 others :-D
"THE SECOND LEVEL"
Just my opinion, but... The second half is a new level. Give the player a brand new reflector cube, and split it off.
Rhythm: I mentally paced myself for the first room, and used up the hour or so I mentally allocated for it.
Look & Feel: The first "level" was the first room -- tall, open, well lit -- and the second "level" is the opposite -- claustrophobic, dark, twisting and turning, with little dangers everywhere.
Bottom Line: This seems like at least two pretty clever levels. The second one could use some more light, and maybe some more breathing space, but it looks interesting. (Also, I think that you should replace one or two of the overlapping antlines with signs.)
I'd be willing to try that "second level" if you decide to split if off and I can do it some day that I'm fresh.
CONS:
There were a couple things that felt were a little frustrating (rather than fun):
CON: Solving a puzzle perfectly, only to find that once I solved it, I arrived at a place where I needed a sphere.
Suggestion: Show the player would be able to see the sequence in which he needs to do things. Swap some solid blocks with glass, so the player can see that he'll need to obtain a sphere before taking the elevator.
CON: An unseen action poured gel cleaner onto the middle square. I had to spend time figuring out which action was inadvertently cleaning off that square. Plus, I had already "proved" I could cover that area with gel; why do I have to do it again?
CON: I finally completed that first room, thought the level might almost be over, and THEN found a new area -- corridors with lasers, laser gates, multiple fizzlers, multiple funnels, etc. I think the new area should just be a new level. (See "The Second Level" below.)
PART 1 OF 3
PROS:
PRO: The puzzle of having to race the elevator was nice, and clever. The timing seemed to work out really well.
PRO: Since the sphere rolls around, it worked out really nicely that you put little lips on each side of that area that I left it on.
(There is at least one corner where it can get stuck and won't fall into a portal shot from above, as I discovered the hard way.)
PRO: When I first did the "double-shot" to connect the upper beam, I thought I had to do it real fast while a funnel dropped out from under me. I succeeded after a few tries, but it felt too difficult. I was glad to figure out that there was an easier way.
PRO: There were no dead ends to get trapped in, which was nice. Looking up from the ground, I couldn't tell that I wouldn't get trapped into that corner room with the laser, so you might want to give the player some visibility (glass) into that room.

Help !!
I missed seeing that.
I thought it was some strange bug.
all worked well in the end :)
though remove the cleansing gel, would allow more time to do the intended solution.
I was obviously to slow the previous attempts.
but your map, your choice of course.
completed the updated version.
no exploits found.
good map.
puzzle med-hard.
1st chamber:
the blue gel on the portable island, sometimes disapeard ?
this caused me to look for another solution for a while.
but tried again & worked fine ?
2nd chamber:
after cube swapping & respawn to get the portal behind laser field
& cube back on button in original area.
I put the reflector in the funel, in the laser emitter room.
then did the rest.
worked perfectly.
did not need the fizzler
good ideas.
well executed.
so was I by 3 turrets :)
got my revenge :)
I had already given the thumbs up.
but if I could, I would give it again.
Your method at the exit was correct although it's probably easier to just portal the cube up later . I've just subscribed to your new chamber which I know isn't going to be easy :)
thumbs up.
good / confusing / fun.
makes you think with this map.
glad I took reflector with me :)
activating the laser catcher that the funel goes into, took a while.
but when my portals & myself were in the right position to take advantage of it.
it worked. very good puzzle here.
turrets killed me, but I had my revenge :)
their is a bypass in the 2nd chamber past the funel (which I did not need)
you can jump on the cubes, & place a portal on the other side of the stairs.
did not need the portable area at the exit.
I used the angled panel here & jumped from above, through portals,
to get the cube up there. (but could not get myself up there, with this method.)
so I used the same angled panel with the faithplate from the previous area to reach the exit.
I have a new map. when you get time, please let me know what you think:

As you didn't make any comment about co-op mode I don't suppose you happen to know if there is any way to save your position in community co-op maps. F6 doesn't seem to work!
If you wondered why I've stopped testing your chambers at the moment it's because I have been trying co-op mode. Very entertaining and easier to understand than I expected!
