Lethani, thanks. I was thinking about using the new one and checking out the difference. I do love the geomantic web feature and building it up through time.

lethani i know it has its own effects, i was just saying that lizardmen had an effect like it that boosted income as well in vanilla that didn't cause problems, and some recently released mods can effect money in strange ways and thought they might be causing what happened to the other person's economy.

This is because the mod was developed for the time before the DLC, where there was really only Athel Loren for the Wood Elves. Now, with the new big regions, that multiplies massively - so I would recommend the new version, where everything is a bit more balanced.

It uses the same mechanics but with its own effects. There should be no overwriting.

houshmandzadeh don't the lizardmen have the same edict? i.e. the lizardmen have an edict called"Alignment of Crafting" that boosts income up to 10%, where as this mod caps at 6%, it is weaker then vanilla lizardmen, maybe it is a mod conflict making something go wrong with your economy?

I like this mod, but this really does break the economy. I cant get an income of up to about 200k a turn before turn 100 and that's with fielding a bunch of armies. The income tweak to Creation Power of Vaul really needs to be nerfed.

That's ok if you like this version better. That's also the reason why I uploaded the new version separately instead of overwriting this one. I'm sure there are more people who prefer to stay with version 1.

i don't use "symbiosis" mod, i also like literally regrowing the forests of the world like in this version, not all at once but over time... like a forest being regrown after it was burned to the ground, it takes time and spreads outwards little by little, province by province, in the new version you have nothing to do until late game, in this version you always are making progress towards regrowing the world, that satisfying feeling of regrowing the world is lost in the new version and was perfectly captured in this version, i never felt the wood elves were connected to the world until this mod, and the new version removed that.

This is because for the midgame I did mostly "Symbiosis" and I felt that the endgame (for any faction) is quite boring and without anything new. The idea is also that the Woodelves should first take the "regular" forests and heal them before they really start the world expansion.

p.s. on a side note the new version's progression is all tied to buildings and locations that are not in the vortex campaign, i.e. there is no oak of ages in vortex or the other buildings needed to reduce the price(since they are next to said missing oak of ages), making the new version useless outside of mortal empire, where as this version works in both campaigns.

after comparing both versions i hate the new version since it removes the feeling of regrowing the world, in this version you regrow the world and connect it, in the new version there just isn't any feeling of progression, you go from early game to late game with nothing in between, in this one you regrow what was lost one province at a time and that is what i love about it most, the new one does have new edicts but the irony is none of them help growth! the new one just feels like a downgrade in every way to this one, in no way is it a 2.0 version of this.

Yes, because there is only one geomantic web in the game. If you play the game by lizardmen I would recommend to turn this mod off

Bunions it works for me, do you have the needed mods as detailed above at the bottom or sfo installed you need to have one of them? If you have vanilla you need the file shown if you use SFO it should work fine.

Hi Lethani it works now, Im sry for late reply I have had lots of crashes but I had an old mod causing it for some reason. I started as Wood Elves and its named correctly now. Thank you for your mod its a really good idea to expand the faction and tie lore into it.

Are there more textes that are not working? The names of edicts, textes when you push the button or names of higher outposts? I don´t know if I can fix it, or need to aks someone with english language, ´cause I´ll never could check out if it is working :/ I´m still asking some other modders, but it could take some time

I have the same issue I use english language not german and the icon works and I think the mod works fine its just the text. Could it be something language pack related?
