Ah, sockets only shows up after rescuing the enchanter in act 1 in the bandit camp

To counter Demarki's claim about it breaking game balance: no, it really doesn't, The mod only allows you to do what you could typically find in that act anyway, especially early game where 1-2-3 sockets are still only going to be filled with low-quality embers or skulls/eyes (even with ember upgrade mods installed).

In fact, it actually makes Synergies early-game playable (even though you're getting 90% chaos embers and can't out-strip content with how uncommon elemental gems are at that point of the game)

works fine, thx

I tried it today it is not working.

This is seriously breaking the game balance, allowing you to add 5 sockets on every single item...like the game was not easy enough already. :)

Poison Wolf 28 Aug, 2015 @ 3:29am
Yes, this is great thanks for taking the time to reply. This answers it completely. Great mod by the way.

It adds a floating skull NPC to the towns which allows you to enchant your gear with sockets. The number of sockets he will allow you to put onto your gear depends on how many acts you have beaten. If you get to new game plus, you will have the maximum of 5 sockets available. Hope that helps you understand now.

I really don't understand what this is. Mind detailing it for me please?

Is it possible to move the location of the floating skull to another area?
There is a Endless Dungeon Mod that I would like to use but the entrance to the dungeon is in the exact location where the floating skull is so the skull doesn't show up.

Thanks

I will make a video showing Sockets location in each town and put it in the main mod. keep an eye out for that.
Bandit  [author] 21 May, 2013 @ 3:48pm
This mod requires ZERO loading order. All that is contained is a clone of the skull character converted into an enchanter, and a merge folder into each town. There is no default files inside the mod for anyone else to conflict with, and all the logic of hiding and showing different versions of the socketer is done inside the merged layout.

I freed the enchanter who was locked in the basement with the thief kings and still no sockets does this mod require top line priority?
Bandit  [author] 19 May, 2013 @ 10:05pm
Sockets is linked to the enchanter in act 1, and can be unlocked by playing through the game. Once you save the enchanter, you also unlock Sockets at the same time giving you both enchanting and sockets in town. Act 2 and beyond Sockets has permanent locations through the towns.

Where is he ?
Bandit  [author] 19 May, 2013 @ 9:38am
He is not inside mapworks, in my compilation mod there is a rework of the maproom by Chewtoy that included all sorts of NPC you will find necessary.
