XD yeah, if you go into the mod folder theres a config file where you can modify the curses/blessings. Its been a while since ive looked at it so I cant say exactly how you need to modify it but take a look and it should make enough sense i hope

Because Ventus is the single most sadistic thing I have EVER experienced in a video game

and somehow I get that course 90% of the time

its a bug with stat api 2.0 that i have yet to fix resulting from somewhere along the process of calculating tearrate the thing crashes and so it leaves the stats where they were - only partially complete.

Ill have to look into it at some point

i really love this mod,but something extremely odd happens whenever i activate this mod.
for some reason all characters start with 10000 tear delay,im certain its this mod because i went through the trouble of manually turning on each mod by itself in my subbed mods

I have noticed that champion rooms sometimes give eight blessings upon completition. Honestly, I thought that was intentional aswell as sometimes the champion room wouldnt give a blessing upon completion. I figured it was a "risk reward" type deal.

It isn't intentional but I haven't found a way to fix it atm. The chest when opened just spawns a regular entity so it disappears on room clear (since doing that otherwise is annoyingly difficult) but it means that the chest when opened can get status effects and become a champion and a whole bunch of other stuff that I don't really want but haven't quite found a way to remove. If I find a way I'll update it though.

On a side note, have you had any issues with clearing champion rooms giving like 8 blessings sometimes?

Hey mate, I been meaning to leave you some feedback in terms of problems arising with this mod. I've noticed that when you open a black chest, any sort of flies, spiders, and poison to name a few, will attack the open chest. Its slightly annoying as it wastes flies/spiders. I was hoping this could be fixed if it wasnt intentional. Thanks again for the mod, mate!

They shouldnt override eachother but who knows. They are relatively rare as far as chests go - but they spawn often in cursed rooms to compensate. Check those and if you still see nothing let me know!

How rare are these black chest? I know the mod's wroking as Ido get the blessings from challenge room, however I have yet to run into a black chest.

Or is this a problem with also having the Coin Chest mod installed as well, like with the Coin Chest overriding the black chest or something? (I'm no modder so-)

Seems the code that reduced shop prices also was reducing the price of items in the devil deal. Let me fix that and patch it up once more for ya

also the permanent effect thing is a bug because i forgot to reenable the if statement before i uploaded it whoops lmao

Huh? I haven't seen that issue myself but I can look into it.

Another thing that should be noted, I dont know if this is a product of your mod, but it appears that all devil deals are reduced to one red heart regardless of the item. It also shows one red heart despite you having only soul/black hearts, and wont let you take the item at all.

Thanks for replying back to my feedback! I tested the mod again, and it seems that the shops have permanent price decrease as if Charisma is active.

yeah i have to look inot whats wrong with the prices - currently it seems its only aesthetically updating the prices which is Not Good.
I had a previous version running which would only reduce item prices on entering the room however this proved troublesome with reroll machines not having the items they spawn be price reduced, which felt off.

I will look into it again and see if I can't get a better version of that up and running.

Hey! The mod is great! I really love the risk/reward factor the mod provides! My only complaint is that the blessing that reduces the price of shop. This blessing, upon receiving it and entering a shop, reduces the performance of my computer very drastically. On top of that, I've also noticed that the prices can sometimes be false, such as an item that costs five cents takes away 15 cents instead. Regardless of the fact, the mod still is a very nice one and appreciate your contribution to the modding community!

Patching up and update now to make black chests not spawn in challenge rooms since i cant get them to force challenge rooms to start without a stupid workaround.

Either way, I'm liking the mod so far. Ventus is suprisingly debilitating - I do like the extra challenge.

I made it intentional at first but im second guessing it now. It just feels like if it blocked those curses it would make black candle even more op than it already is so idk about that, but at the same time, i named them "curses" so they should do shit

Seems like a fun mod. just installed it to try and one of my first items was Black Candle.

...Turns out the new custom curses ignore Black Candle's Curse Immunity. :) Is that a bug or is it intentional?

I can probably do a quick curse appearing banner for all the curse names. For now you'll just have to remember what icon means what curse by seeing the effect in game I guess lol

I opened one normal chest while playing and then I recieved like 6 curses and blessings. I still don't know how it happened. I haven't opened any other chests on the same floor.

so... the symbols that appear on the top show you what curses/blessing a you have right? but I have no idea what they mean, maybe you should make the curse's name/blessing appear when you press tab or something. it is great mod thought I wish curses in the original game ware as creative.
