hello Steelwarrior. I have experimented a bit with a small wheeled miner that can dig its own tunnels and go up and down it by itself even with a full load, it does use pistons but no rotors. I could upload it if you want.

I love your build iv been using it. I recently joined a rover mad max server and I was wondering if you had any ideas for a rover tunnel miner?

@Patchouli - I would recommend an Advanced Rotor with a small rotor head attached to make a small grid docking port with a sorter to pull ore as show in the screenshots. If you don't want to use a rotor I do think a normal large grid connectors works too but it won't be as perfectly aligned with the truck as a small one would be.

having trouble to build a docking station for this...any idead??

@SMooreAce - It's actually not that bad. Only time that could be a problem is if digging in a straight line maybe. Also because of the dust clouds forming while mining the visibility gets basically zero if they're any closer.

Great looking design. But the spread on the drills could make for some complicated drilling.

The Blueprint have been updated with some minor cosmetic and QoL improvements.

This looks like a proper industrial rig. Very attractive design.

This is such a cool little design, I love the use of the curves on the miner and the offset driver's position on the rover. Really great work Funky :)
