Definitely not save game compatible.
Tried to add it to an existing game and it crashes to desktop every time I try to load it.

i guess it technically does what it says
tho i had hoped it would prevent the original parties from reappearing after secession/civil war had taken place
*reason being your 1 political part mod doesn't allow you to select the starting/passive faction bonus, as their obviously is only 1 party available default
wanted to use this to "cheese" it and get the best of both worlds, the choice of starting bonus and then eliminating all parties over time 😅
guess next campaign i'll just use the 1 political party mod, and accept the "ocd" displeasure of not getting the exact faction bonus desired :ccThumbsUp:

Hello, is it possible for u to create a mod that prevent new political party formed from having red negative traits for 1st & 2nd party traits? 3rd traits can change through faction leader but first 2 are fixed & game like to spawn new party that got bad traits most of the time. Hate to always have to destroy a party & then another bad one keep forming again. Save scumming for a good party to form sometimes can take 4 to 5 hrs. If they can be green, even better. Thanks in advance.

Mod still works, here is an explanation for why some of you are having issues.
You cannot use the mod and load a saved game that you weren't using the mod in.
Need to start new game and always have the mod enabled when you load that saved game or a political party that I've removed will spawn.
If that were to happen and you were to save the game and not have a backup save where the mod was enabled you would have to finish that saved campaign without the mod.
Mod causes crashes when you load a campaign that has political parties in it that I removed.

Hi Bullseye! Can you make it so that the mod just disables new party formation? I'm at the end of an Imperator Augustus campaign and I wanted to end things off with a one party empire by eliminating all the other ones, but the very next turn after I force the first secession, a new party forms. I tried the mod, but since i have an additional party besides the two at the start, the mod crashed my save.

@XXX133 just tested it and no....you cant kill a party and become the only party left. Would love it if this mod did it....anybody know a mob that can do that?

No this mod only changes 1 table and that table has nothing to do with AI.

@Bullseye I am using a X50 influence mod, War Weariness and AI accepts everything. Could any of these conflict?

It's not compatible with older versions of the game anymore because I updated it to work with that new campaign they added.

Only other reason it could cause a crash is if you're using a mod it's not compatible with.

yeah you'd have to start a new campaign.

There are political parties in your saved game that I removed that's why it crashes.

I'm not sure if it's because of adding the mod during a campaign, but in Rise of the Republic the game crashes after subscribing to this mod and trying to continue the game :(

I figured that's what was happening is that the game just wanted to keep the beginning parties around, so it reformed them after wiping them out. Guess I'll just have to deal with having the Cornelia around. Might try to gamble with taking them out a second time and hoping they reform with better traits, though, because currently they have 3 negative traits that lower their loyalty

They're not technically new parties but I didn't know they would reform the party if you destroyed them.

@aMatther I just had the same issue. Triggered a seccession as the Romans to wipe out the Cornelia, then a couple turns after it triggered, they reformed again. rather annoying since they're whiny jerks who hate everything I do

Giovanni I can't directly limit political parties that were created by a user but there is a way to limit them.

You would have to delete a table in the mod and replace it with the table that I upload.

It should take about 30-45 seconds once you know how to do it.

Of course when he updates the mod you'll have to delete that same table in his mod again and replace it with the table I uploaded.

Just do what I do in the video highlight the same table I did and press delete it should turn red then add the file in like I did and save it.

Also make sure you untick this mod or it might interfere with the changes you made.

BTW the huns have 2 parties I only changed it to 1 for the video to show the changes were working.

I think there are two or three in the beginning and that’s fine

It’s one too short and so my family keeps forming its own party and they are less loyal than the other families

Liking difficulty and finding certain mechanics annoying are not mutually exclusive. If your men sometimes randomly didn't follow your orders it would make the game harder and simulate the real difficulty of issing battle comands, but it would also be really annoying.

I play my rome 1 style campaign which is far more difficult than the vanilla game on very hard mode.

I don't actually use this mod I just made it for somebody who asked me to.

Politics has nothing to do with difficulty it's just an annoyance.

Quick question my dude. I noticed your difficulty is set to VH, if you like difficulty why are you removing the difficulty the game has stock?
