Since this is fantasy history, there is literally no fucking reason why people can't have female commanders. It's historically plausible because there is historical evidence to it. Is it likely to have happened on a wider scale? No. Doesn't make it impossible.
Anyways, go incel somewhere else :)
Black men didn't lead armies in either of the armies during the American civil war either. It wasn't because they couldn't, it was because they were not allowed to. It wasn't because they were incapable, it was because they were not allowed.
I'm glad you "read the classics" at Uni. If you actually majored in history, you'd understand that just because something happened historically, doesn't mean that the history itself is proof of some sort of universal truth.
Men, in general, are more physically powerful than women. This translated into men more or less monopolizing violence at all levels, from the individual level, to the modern nation state level. The institutions that evolved out of this reality, we're predominantly protective of this right to violence, in this case when we say violence, we mean any action that enforces rules or norms. In modern society, states are the only legitimate wielders of this sort of violence.
lmao nerd stfu
I'm a massive history nerd - I read Classics at uni, and immediately I can only think of Boudica, Zenobia, and Cleopatra. The three of them came to power due to fortuitous circumstance, and even then they certainly didn't instigate a matriarchal society. All three relied heavily on males to administer the political and military business of the realm. These women weren't "woke" and they certainly would've known and accepted the roles that both gender and class play to ensure a healthy and functioning society.
As much as the modern political narrative wants history to change, it can't. We shouldn't lie, mislead, or try to put a modern political narrative onto events that happened 2000 years ago...
Ain't for me, but I appricate your work, lmao though xD
