I don't remember exactly, but i don't think i made this to work with helicopters.
Use search light script instead.
Not as it is, needs editing. However there is a lot room for optimization in this script, there are some more or less recent updates in Arma engine that would make that possible. Last time i checked which is long time ago, this script worked well with vanilla, CUP and few other mods, tho never tested with RHS far as i remember

My work was incorporated in any mods and modules and sometimes i did edits for my scripts to work in various frameworks or mods but i was never the guy who maintained or published those.
I suggest to look on workshop after the mods which are still functional or supported, i don't keep track of them, tho i can suggest checking the work of few guys who did or still do a great job using my anomaly scripts or creating new ones:

iT'S AN engine limitation, wait for the next Arma update, they will increase the number of light that can be rendered in visual range
:( Dunno man, i tested it only with few vanilla and maybe some CUP vehicles i am not sure.
I don't remember how i made the script look for turret, must be something related to the muzzle selection. Maybe i will find time next week to have a look on it
the sector scan seems to work on all vehicles, however the random fire feature seems to only work for certain vehicles.. i tried using it on nato marshall and the AAF nyx (AA) and they seem to only be scanning but not shooting. Is there a fix? or am i doing something wrong?
Yeah, shooting direction is random, to achieve what you want you need to tweak the script more, even so you could expect AI to shoot players, you might need to set shooting AI as captive or another faction to make them stick to shooting direction and not kill players

As in the demo mission, as any other script. You need to incorporate the scripts in the mission you host on server.

Changes:
- misc fixes and clean ups
- simplified the way is used, see the demo mission and check out the init field of the placed turrets.

I didn't test it, but i don't think so, i think additional scripting is required to make that work

Thanks mate but i don't have time, i prefer using the time i have available to finish the scripts i have in work or planned. I will do some missions to test some scripts but other than that i don't think i will have time this year even for the campaign i started to work on two years ago.
As i mentioned in the video, you need to set scan_1 or whatever variable you use as true in init.sqf or another script, anyways make it publicvariable as i did in my demo mission anddo that as soon as the mission starts to avoid errors

Most likely the only Waresky' contribution to Arma community are comments like that.
I personally do a lot of micro donations to member of our community, is like buying a beer to a friend because you enjoy his presence or he helped you move :)
And i encourage everyone to do so, is basic physics, there is always an exchange and loops are always closed sooner or later in one way or another. So what if is a hobby? I am glad to show my apprecitation for other peole' effort and if i would've been richer i would've done more, but all in good time.
Nevertheless, providing feed-back, supporting an author or sharing his work is a welcomed alternative which in some cases is even more important than donations, so everyone can "chip in" and help the community grow even if one cannot script, mod, donate.
