The Brave New World versions have been released.
DV1998 23 Aug, 2013 @ 4:12am
@Pluvia KINDA crazy? Gryll is bloody insane. Everytime I play a Mass Effect only game of civ, I pray for the entire loading portion that I don't start next to him. As soon as you meet him, he denounces you. He does the same to the other AI players. In one game, he took the Collector Capital on turn 60. Balak is also kinda nuts.
Pluvia  [author] 20 Aug, 2013 @ 2:26pm
To explain the update, Gryll is kinda crazy and the Vorcha are quite powerful due to their ability to heal quickly. That means they can "overwhelm" you if you're not prepared for them or don't know how to handle their healing ability. To help with this their science and culture have been nerfed slightly. So while he's slightly crazier and the Hunter lasts longer, and they can still technically overwhelm you if you're not prepared, their penalties stop them from becoming juggernauts and makes them manageable.
Pluvia  [author] 20 Aug, 2013 @ 2:04pm
UPDATE V.3 - AI updates, aka Gryll is now slightly more crazy. Bloodlust Science and Culture penalty increased from -20% to -25%. Hunter obselete tech increased to Rifling. Hunter build cost increased slightly.

Remember not to update if you want to continue a saved game.

The Elcor have been released.
Salesforce Gert 9 Jul, 2013 @ 8:20pm
I'm not sure if it was just bad luck, but when I was playing I noticed they were getting really powefull and capturing all AI near then so I decided to knock them down a level and at first it worked but then they basically just zerged the shit out of me! they flooded me with troops and I got overwellemed slowly. No one else seems to have had this problem thogh so maybe it was bad planning on my part.
Pluvia  [author] 26 Jun, 2013 @ 2:13am
The Drell have been released.
Bob Dylan 21 Jun, 2013 @ 7:00pm
If your going to make mods like this atleast give the units the races skins
Pluvia  [author] 20 Jun, 2013 @ 12:32pm
To explain this update, the Vorcha are meant to be vermin and their trait is quite powerful. You now have to give up a lot for such advanced healing.
Pluvia  [author] 20 Jun, 2013 @ 12:31pm
UPDATE V.2 - Bloodlust now also reduces their science by 20%. Vorcha colours adjusted slightly.

Super Sloth 10 Jun, 2013 @ 5:10am
Thanks great work on these mods btw :D
Pluvia  [author] 10 Jun, 2013 @ 4:40am
@AnonKill - No.
Super Sloth 10 Jun, 2013 @ 4:38am
is the systems alliance far away from release?
Pluvia  [author] 8 Jun, 2013 @ 8:57pm
@Takoom - It'll cause issues. There will be a seperate pack containing BNW versions of these released after that game is out.
Takoom 8 Jun, 2013 @ 12:58am
So do you believe the up coming Civ 5 Expansion will at all cause issues with the ME3 mods? Like unable to play with the mods until you update them, or is it too soon to tell since you don't actually know what the Expansion will do?
Räko 7 Jun, 2013 @ 3:10pm
@Super Jobo, Warrior of the World It's free weekend for Civ V, that means G&K is 75% off. I upgraded to gold edition for 9,99€...
Pluvia  [author] 7 Jun, 2013 @ 2:38pm
@Irish - No.
Astronaut Wizard 7 Jun, 2013 @ 1:14pm
Does this replace any civilizations?
Pluvia  [author] 4 Jun, 2013 @ 3:24pm
@Alflu - There will be seperate BNW versions released. And yes some of them will be different based on the new elements it brings, and some of them might just be updated to work with it.
Alflu The Adventure Mann 4 Jun, 2013 @ 3:06pm
@Pluvia with the up coming Brave New World addon will you update the mods so that the trade or other gameplay could be changed to fit any civ. For example the Volus are a very trade relient civ so will you update them to add that part of "realism".
Pluvia  [author] 4 Jun, 2013 @ 1:12pm
@Super Jobo - There's not going to be versions for vanilla, as most of the elements that make these aren't available in vanilla.
Astiron 4 Jun, 2013 @ 12:30pm
(I maily want to play as the Krogan though. So if you can do it, please do the Krogan first.
Astiron 4 Jun, 2013 @ 12:29pm
Could you make it not require G&K? I tried to use and then realized it said it needed G&K. If you could that would be awesome, thanks
Bentendo_64_ 3 Jun, 2013 @ 8:20am
I'm not bothered about the Vorcha race normally but they're so fun to play as!! Thank you so much for these mods. I'm not sure if it's deliberate but on my game while the Hunters don't require an iron to build they still require one to upgrade a unit to the Hunter? I'd personally agree with the earlier comments about a science penalty too, perhaps reduce the science bonuses from the Labor Team?
Can't wait for the next mod, then we'll have enough to do a full sized Civ game with them!
Joss 2 Jun, 2013 @ 11:11pm
Any chance you want to make a Mass Effect mod for Endless Space? Now I just want to play through Civilization as a Mass Effect race, conquer the world, then start a game of Endless Space and move on to the rest of the galaxy.
AzRanger 2 Jun, 2013 @ 6:00pm
Ha I just love all the Mass Effect mods for this game Im a huge fan of the series great job.
Golf 2 Jun, 2013 @ 5:10pm
Pluvia, when you have finished with all these mass effect civs, PLEASE make a mod pack. It'd be much simpler for people new to your mods.
[DINO]NewAgeSoldier 2 Jun, 2013 @ 4:55pm
it looks cool
Nova Spera 2 Jun, 2013 @ 10:43am
I hope Mordin leads the Salarians...his sacrifice will be remembered
Chao 1 Jun, 2013 @ 11:28pm
Who will lead the Salarians, Drell and Elcor?
wiljamesroe 1 Jun, 2013 @ 2:08pm
which civ do you plan on releasing next im hoping for the prothean but no matter what it is thank you for all the great mods
Satyr 1 Jun, 2013 @ 11:42am
Another fantastic looking mod, as usual, Pluvia. You've probably got the single best unique civilization mods out there. Single best...but multiple and...FORGET IT. Looking forward to the Salarians and the Elcor!
