Hi there All,

Sincere apologies for not updating all of my mods in such a long time. Life stuff got in the way, and when I did have some free time, I just didn't want to go back to this stuff as a quick read made it seem like it was going to be a pain to fix. Finally in a bit of a better head space, and with Wreckfest 2 coming out soon, figured these PROBABLY won't break again, so I looked into it, and it turned out to be a relatively easy fix. I went ahead and updated all of my track mods. At least for Wild West Motorsports Park and the Loop of Death version of Stockton 99, the devs added some tracks that essentially did the same thing (and in WWMP's case, literally the same track, haha), so you weren't missing much with my stuff being gone, but now Ukiah and Petaluma are back and playable too, which is nice for folks that like the small ovals.

Rocinante 29 Jun, 2020 @ 7:43pm
KillerAJD, would you be interested in doing another track, Paid commission???
KillerAJD  [author] 27 Jun, 2020 @ 1:49am
Went and re-checked textures. Think i managed to fix every missing one on these tracks (it's a PAIN to do so manually, so it may take me a bit to get to my other tracks). As noted in the description, you will need to download all of my tracks for all of the textures to be present (this is due to the way I set the pathing in the mod tool, as it automatically copied the path from the first track I worked on fixing the textures for (Petaluma), so most of the paths in the other tracks point to the Petaluma folder).
KillerAJD  [author] 26 Jun, 2020 @ 11:18pm
Updated the track, so it hopefully will now work with the latest update. Should no longer have issues loading, and shouldn't break vanilla tracks. I've only checked to see if it works with my mods, so no promises that it won't break when other mods are installed. Some missing textures still, but not sure if/when I'll get to those.
Rocinante 26 Jun, 2020 @ 2:11am
If it is just one texture file... shouldn't be that hard to fix.

I'm awfully sad that this may be the end of the Stockton99 Speedway project. This was my favorite mod until I found out that every single one of your tracks don't work anymore :(
R.I.P this track, definitely was one of the best!
Rocinante 24 May, 2020 @ 2:49am
I'm willing to help fix this, please feel free to reach out to me!
Donsly 18 May, 2020 @ 10:16pm
aw thats sad, thanks for letting us know tho
KillerAJD  [author] 18 May, 2020 @ 8:30pm
Sorry guys, the title/description are incorrect. Thought I had changed it, guess not. My tracks have been broken since the December update. Had hoped to work on them at the beginning of the year, but at this point, unless something changes in the near future, I don't have plans to go back to them and fix them.
Donsly 16 May, 2020 @ 7:44pm
broken
The Degenerizer 14 May, 2020 @ 8:53pm
Since I've installed this my game has crash every time I try to hop into a track saying: can't find tire effect surface 'resetplayer_delay'
Bandit Gambino 28 Aug, 2019 @ 3:40am
WELL DONE!!! This is both you and TheVeryEnd fixed the issue and it works like a charm on the Tarmac!
KillerAJD  [author] 27 Aug, 2019 @ 11:20pm
@Wolves Hero - Looks like I've got the tracks working, so you should be good to play them now. However, do note that there are quite a few broken textures (and they show up as bright pink). I'll try and get those taken care of in the next few weeks (fixing the crashing issue turned out to not be so bad thanks to user/modder The Very End)
KillerAJD  [author] 27 Aug, 2019 @ 2:19pm
@Wolves Hero - figured that would happen. No guarantee on when I'll be able to fix them (at this point, haven't even had a chance to see what the issues are going to be), but hopefully can get to it in the next few weeks.
Wolves Hero 27 Aug, 2019 @ 11:55am
Event loading crashed after updated, please fix it & update this mod
KillerAJD  [author] 16 Aug, 2019 @ 11:55am
@waynechriss Not sure what's up, just checked myself and they are still showing up in game. As I've mentioned to others that have issues, try re-verifying the game cache, but you might also have another mod installed that conflicts for some reason, in which case there's nothing I can do except recommend trying mods one at a time to see if a specific mod is causing issues. Nothing in the Stockton 99 mod should be causing conflicts other than a small possibility of a few textures, but that shouldn't break them to the point where they don't show up.
waynechriss 14 Aug, 2019 @ 4:21pm
Are these broken cuz they don't show up in my track list anymore.

The original Flatout games are amongst my all-time favourite vehicle-based games so was really pleased when Wreckfest was put up on Kickstarter as That Car Game. Sadly, it didn't make the cash it needed via crowd funding; thankfully BugBear soldiered on and I bought into the game when they messaged me via Kickstarter to say I could purchase an alpha version via their web site. Despite the initial game being basic, I still loved it to bits, and was pleased when it was finally released as an early access game on Steam.

Please excuse the waffle; I tend to do that when my opiate meds kick in. :really:

Anyway, I would like to say a massive thank you for taking the time and effort to create this excellent workshop content. I loved it.

Thanks again, very much appreciated. :golden:

I haven't stepped foot in that facility in over 30 years or so. Spent many a Friday or Saturday night there, then down Wilson to 99 to Pollardville/Showboat. Roll back into Lodi about 2 or 3 am. It's good to see they haven't bulldozed it to put in a WalMart. That was some prime real estate back in the day. Had this track for NR2003 & loved it. I haven't had a chance yet to drive your version. Gonna take care of that tomorrow.
Vanhammer 24 Sep, 2018 @ 10:05pm
@KillerAJD it's incredibly close to the real track major thing it's missing I don't think this game even has so there's nothing that can be done there (night time with the big lights) but I love it, been scouting the signs even, blew my mind when I seen an advert for the Asparagus Festival!!! Amazing attention to detail!
KillerAJD  [author] 24 Sep, 2018 @ 3:50pm
@vonericson Awesome story! Hope it lives up to at least a bit of what the actual track is like :)
KillerAJD  [author] 24 Sep, 2018 @ 3:50pm
@fizzle mccoy Thanks! Glad you are enjoying it!
Vanhammer 23 Sep, 2018 @ 10:30pm
DUDE!!!! Thank You So Much! I grew up at this track, my dad was a driver, family friend were all drivers or family of. Then my family and I moved away in 1991 and I haven't been able to go back there since, it's changed a lot, there never was a figure 8, obviously a loop and ramps are for entertainment flash but this is incredible! Thank you again your work is amazing.
fizzle mccoy 9 Sep, 2018 @ 8:26am
These maps are awesome! doing the loop the loop map with a full lobby and on lawnmowers is now my new favourite thing. Rest of the maps look and handle great too. Great job man, this one is staying in my mod list for sure.
KillerAJD  [author] 6 Sep, 2018 @ 10:01pm
No worries! If you've got a high-res version (or even a vector version), upload it somewhere and send me the link to it. If it's just a photo or something, that's fine, as long as it isn't completely unreadable, I can recreate it if absolutely necessary.
Yukio Mishima 6 Sep, 2018 @ 7:43pm
Wow, that's really generous of you. Ill be giving to Society for the Blind.. Really appreciate you doing that, as does my family... He would definitely get a kick out of it as well.

What format do you prefer the file to be in? I can send you over something within a few days. Thanks again man!
KillerAJD  [author] 6 Sep, 2018 @ 3:50pm
@Smugkins I sincerely appreciate the support, but couldn't in good conscience accept that. If you would like, you're more than welcome to take that and make a donation in your father's name :) I'd be more than happy to add a billboard for your father. If you have a logo, or a photo of one/a specific style, I'd gladly add it (may take me a few days to get to it though).

I wish those maps were in multi
falconater68 4 Sep, 2018 @ 4:01am
Well done! Fun tracks, better online i'm sure.
KillerAJD  [author] 3 Sep, 2018 @ 12:17am
@Poddeh & waynechriss I totally understand what you mean! I completely love sim racing stuff, so it's why I've done ovals (essentially tracks near me that I know will probably never be done proper in a sim like iRacing), but It's a lot of fun going crazy with the wackier stuff, and that will continue in anything else I make for sure, as this game is perfect for it.
KillerAJD  [author] 3 Sep, 2018 @ 12:15am
@lethargica Thanks a ton! I put a bunch of work into this one to make it look nice. Still learning a lot of the tools, but hopefully the improvement from each successive track I make is worth it.
waynechriss 1 Sep, 2018 @ 11:08pm
@Poddeh Same. I don't even race in that map, I just like sitting in the back and watching them collide midair.
Poddeh 1 Sep, 2018 @ 12:04pm
These are the kind of tracks that should have shipped with the game - pure chaos by the start of Lap 2 - really showcases the damage models and the destructive hilarity. Even parking by the Figure 8 with Ramps and just watching the AI is enjoyable in itself. Bravo sir!
dang ol THPS man 1 Sep, 2018 @ 9:46am
This is such an aesthetically pleasing track. Really immersive feeling. :)
KillerAJD  [author] 1 Sep, 2018 @ 12:04am
@Pantherboat - Thanks! Not sure on if it's the first or not (it was mentioned previously below that Purple44 has a loop in one of the Cops and Robbers tracks), but it might be the first one that the AI can actually complete on a semi-regular basis, so that's cool enough as it is, haha. And yeah, I completely forgot to mention that the loop will mess your car up on realistic damage. It might be possible to fix it, but I'd most likely have to make the loop extremely large, otherwise the loop angle is too shallow, and your car bottoms out (which is what causes the damage). The problem with that, is then the AI have issues going through the loop, and unless you are fast enough, actual players may have issues as well. For the time being, I recommend using normal damage, although I may play around with adjusting things at a later time (more likely, I may make some tweaks to it and use it in a future track).
Pantherboat 31 Aug, 2018 @ 10:31pm
Great job! The track looks nice, and the variants all put a nice spin on things. Also, is this the first proper race track with a loop? If so, you pulled it off nicely. My only problem with this track is that you can't do the loop on realistic damage without your wheels coming off. Not sure how you'd fix that though. Can't wait to see what you do next!
KillerAJD  [author] 31 Aug, 2018 @ 10:16pm
@druiz996 - Again, thanks for the feedback. If you mean the ramp on the Loop of Death, that was intentional, as the ramp route is intended to be more a last resort thing if the loop clogs up with AI. As far as the Figure 8 version with ramps, it can get pretty crazy, I agree, but I personally enjoyed nailing the ramps and just sailing for what felt like forever. In an earlier version, the ramps had an even steeper angle, so you had no hope of landing it nicely, but I did adjust them a bit before releasing the track. I may go and tweak them a bit even more, as it turns into a cluster after a bit (at least with AI), but if I change them, it'll need to be something that I find equally as fun to jump off (and again, I personally find the current ramp angles to be pretty darn satisfying to hit).
KillerAJD  [author] 31 Aug, 2018 @ 10:16pm
@VicariousE - Thanks for the feedback! One problem I have is that I've never actually been to Stockton 99, haha, so I have no real idea on the exact size of stuff. I try and be as accurate as I can using Google Earth and measuring a bunch, but after a certain point, I've just got to go with what feels the best.
KillerAJD  [author] 31 Aug, 2018 @ 10:16pm
@Crazygasbag - Just a heads up, I don't seem to have the problem you are having. However, I did notice when I had a specific mod installed (in this case, the Online Bangers mod), some textures stopped working on my track (nothing that crazy, just some boxes beneath people in the grandstands, and some vehicles in the pits), so maybe there's a conflict with another mod you have installed? Let me know some more details if you can, and I'll see what I can do.
druiz996 31 Aug, 2018 @ 6:10pm
The ramps are way too big, makes for subpar racing. Everything else is fine, I guess.
VicariousE 31 Aug, 2018 @ 1:51am
Track looked bigger IRL, but had no issues with it in Wreckfest, has a nice flow to it, recommended to my racing buddies!
KillerAJD  [author] 31 Aug, 2018 @ 12:02am
Hmm, if you haven't already, try verifying your cache and see if that fixes it. I'll have to check it out tomorrow and see if something has changed in the base game that is causing issues. Thanks for the heads up.
