For anyone who is struggling to get this to work on a mac, try installing the mac Silicon version of Harmony. Worked for me

Harmony has issues with the native support rw has for Mac or someshit rn
The fix is to turn on "start with rosseta" in its app info

Harmony has some kind of weird problem with Macs. I'm not sure on the details, ask around. Can't do much about it

This mod isn't working with Odessy for me. I tried it with 1.6 as well and was having the same problem. It's installed and I can open the mod up in the mods menu, I uninstalled it, reinstalled it, did the same thing with Hugs. I am running the game on a Mac. What am I missing?

Oki, I have successfully tweaked the dll to add the "no slowdown" feature to the 4x button. Now trying to implement a checkbox to the mods setting menu to let players choose. It's sooo different to my powershell scripting, I don't think I am fit for this... :<

Can you help me figure out the checkbox and then implement it both to this mod? :o

I have the UI, it is properly detecting the check/uncheck state, however, I must have failed somewhere as the 4x button cancels the incident slowdown no matter the checkbox state.

I don't think we understand each other. I want my 4x to auto-apply the "slowdown removal" from dangerous events.

the right click menu is for the slow down when something happens such as combat, to get 4x speed you just press 4 if you dont see the 4x speed then you likely have a mod conflict

It is 2 clicks actually. 2 mouse clicks. Compared to one keyboard press, the difference is huge.

For some reason, every speed button except the normal speed is just 2x even when I change to settings. It is fixed by reloading the game, but comes back quickly

I wish this mod allowed you to lower the speed of each setting down below its original rate. I usually play at speed 2 with it increased to 5x speed or 5.5x speed for better performance / easier to see my pawns interactions but more options would be highly desired.

@Fernando Harmony on Mac needs Rimworld to specifically be opened with Rosetta instead of running in ARM native mode. This is new in 1.6 as they swapped to a new Unity version that supports ARM while Harmony isn't there yet.

What a bummer I can't setup the custom speed, the 4th choice, to also ignore the event slowdown. But is a great mod nonetheless.

If it's a MacOS problem, you should report it to Ludeon, that's what the beta is for!

I can't test on a Mac, as I don't have one, and would rather impale myself in a rusty fork than buying one hahaha

@Sarg Simple Sidearms also doesn’t work, and it depends on Harmony too, so I guess the problem is with Harmony.

@Sarg I uninstalled it and tried the latest version, but the same problem occurs. I also tried the No Pause Challenge mod, which is supposed to increase the speed, but it doesn’t work either. Even the icons aren't showing. I guess it must be something related to macOS incompatibilities.

@Fernando: Looks like an outdated or corrupted version of Harmony

You need to use HugsLog. It's here on the workshop.
You'll be able to generate an error log you can link for modders, then they'll be able to help you

And Sarg come on man, you have to explain what you want people to do xD I understand your frustration, but if this is Fernando's first mod there's no way for him to know how to report a bug.
In your shoes I'd go full tech support agent, just have a copy pastable explanation ready
