Lord Omega 117 23 Jun, 2022 @ 9:38am

The Seraph of Tomorrow 2 Feb, 2022 @ 7:46am

Everytime I try to load a tabletop session that uses these models, they fail to import with the error message "Failed to load Custom_Model. Parameter name:key cannot be null. Any help?

I'm running into a issue where I cannot select and or move the power armors the only thing I can do is delete them

Would you be able to explain how you made these so that I can get more models from the game? I want to use vertibirds, cars, furniture, building pieces, etc.

Why not ask around then? I'm sure someone would be willing export it for you. Heck, might even be worth it to comment on the blender forum.

That said, wonderful job on these. running a post-nuke game... and this is damned useful.

Thank you.

The other option is to build the skeleton from scratch and manually rig it to every individual power armor... But that's a lot of work that uses up a lot of time I don't have.

In order for me to pose the model, I need to import it into blender in .nif form since that format comes with the bones that are required for posing. Simply exporting it as an .obj using NIFSkope won't work because .obj files do not come with a rigged skeleton. Ordinarily, importing .nif files is not an issue; Blender has a plugin that handles it, and is what I used to import models from New Vegas. However, Fallout 4's .nif extension is different from the ones of previous games, and Blender's Nif plugin is incapable of handling the different format. 3DSMax, on the other hand, does have an up-to-date Nif plugin, which is why I would need it in order to pose the power armor.
Psyckosama 28 Oct, 2018 @ 4:29pm
Why do you need 3dMax to pose the power armor?

These are real cool and I certainly plan to use some of these models for an RPG game I'm running, but I can't help but notice that they all have the same face. Different faces for different models would bring this model pack to the next level IMO. Either way, keep up the good work.

I forgot to re-comment on my issue, but the XO-1 posses work now, thanks for the tip.
Judasilfarion  [author] 29 Sep, 2018 @ 1:36am
Alright now all human models have rocket launcher and minigun poses, and I've added some Great Khans
Judasilfarion  [author] 24 Sep, 2018 @ 10:14am
The power armor models are assetbundles so they can be higher poly. Assetbundles are kind of buggy though so they sometimes fail to load. Try reloading the save, or if that doesn’t work restart tabletop simulator
Severus 24 Sep, 2018 @ 8:49am
When i try to load any other poses for the XO-1 it fails to load and removes the model, is that just on my end?
Judasilfarion  [author] 23 Sep, 2018 @ 10:57pm
It's in the description of the weapon model pack
Alazynortherner 23 Sep, 2018 @ 9:54pm
This might be a dumb question but how do I attack the weapons to these?

Hey I did a project like this for super hero characters. Great work. If you want to spend a decent amount of time, and make your models look way cooler, check out www.mixamo.com . you can quickly upload and pose character models with predetermined poses.
