I found a strange bug with this mod in combination with DEI and Orbis Terrarum 2 + aquarum and Shaders. Certain buidings in the city constant flicker, like there are 2 texture who overlap each other in turns very quickly. How is it possible and what can i do beside deactivating the mod?

No, it shouldn't affect performance no-one has ever complained about that, and many has used it

If you are a modder your self, you can go an edit the mod and scale textures,

Salve @phazer, I do understand that there are only 3 types of cities, but, since you made separate city mods in the past (barbarian and eastern), could you make a separate city mod for Greek/Roman only (with this brighter version)? I really like your work.

There are only 3 city types, there is no way around this,
-1: Greek/Rome
-2: Eastern
-3: Barbarian

Salve @phazer! Wonderful work! Could it be possible to do an independent Roman and Greek cities only mod for the brighter and darker versions? I find it rather distracting that arabian and african factions have persian colored buildings, I'm aware that city models are separated by culture and some cultures share the same models, but I'd rather see HD Roman and Greek cities with vanilla arabian, african and persian cities.

Last question, since eastern cities are diferent, could it be posible to port/use Attila's Sassanid Empire city wall model/texture for the walls of Rome's 2 eastern cities models (Persian, arabian and african)?

It just replaced the old low-res textures, that is all it does,
but it looks nice, as the new textures are very high-res and detailed.

Alexander The Greek, no, it does not, it adds higher resolution textures to the cities, but it is such a minor extra load,
if you have a 18 years old GPU it might affect something, but with any just semi-modern card, it is nothing.
It is like any HD texture pack, and this is by far the "mildest" performance wise:)

Yes. It is just a reskin of the cities (different textures), nothing else is changed, so it cannot conflict with anything.:)

It should be, as it only replaces the very small textures for the 3 city types. That is 3 .DDS files in total.

For some reason I don't get the same result as in your screenshots. For instance, there is no pavement in my cities, they appear to be standing on the grass/sand/whatever biome they are situated in. The buildings themselves seem to be ok though.

It only changes City Textures, so it cannot ruin anything, if it looks fine then is compatible.
And I don't know of any other mod that replaces these exact textures, so it will work:)

Its amazing to me. They went with the idea of big sprawling cities for this game and couldnt even be bothered to make them highly detailed

LasT: What happens when you use the two mods together? Does the game crash or do the cities or fog just look weird? Or something else?
Can I get a link to the "no fog" mod you are talking about?

It IS possible that it is something in the fog mod, that is the issue. This(my) mod is just a re-done hi red texture atlas, essentially just pictures. I guess I need to talk to the creator or the fog mod :)

But I will to all I can to make the two mod work together:)

I have finally gotten animations OUT of Total War games, so people can edit them and put them back in the game My program RigidModel Editor 1.0, that can do those things will be released as soon as correct the last few bugs. It can do lots of thingd, including drawing the models with textures, lighting normal mapping, so they look like in-game.

You have to switch the vanilla Campaign Cam mod off, when you use this, because the vanille one can change the behaviour of DeI in a bad way. That is why is made a special mode for DeI.

The campaign camera mod has been updated so it works without any issues for the following campaigns:

- Grand Campaign
- Imperator Augustus
- Cæsar in Gaul
- Empire Divided
- Rise of The Republic

The battle mod camera mod has adjusted so the the movement and rotation speed fits better with the longer range, and min/max height is also slightly adjusted.

yeah its weird we noticed it with many mods that only change the graphics and even with both people having the same mods activated it says that the host has an incompatible version - this has only been the case since CA updated Rome 2 maybe only with the new launcher but I can't confirm that

It is possible that all have to have the same mod? Do other mods interfere with MP?
I have never heard the complaint before, and all the mod does it change textures, no modes, no scripts or anything, so I really can't see why it should not work. Do other mods that ONLY change textures work without problems?

@everyone: do you others have problems playing multiplayer with this on? If so I would like hear about it.

Yes, that is my city on the screenshot, but your are usnig a lighting plugin, that makes it overly bright.
