i just hear r2d2 sounds then my game crashes on a black screen smh

its EA26 compatible for me, it around 3-5 minutes to load, may be dependent on what mods your running too

This map does not load for me I am on EA26 so i don't know if thats the problem. But I open it and I just get a black screen and I hear weird warbling sounds. Hopefully it gets fixed, looks fun.

By the way, Tatter Tot, I get the same freeze, but eventually it does finish loading. It may take a little more time than with most maps.

At the Garrison map, there's an AT turret with sandbags. Those sandbags are not solid. You can walk and shoot through them.

Just one small thing I noticed on a really good map.

My Game crashes every time i launch the map it gets to the end of the load bar and then freezes

@Big Halal - Everything that isn't out-of-the-box Ravenfield was made by me. In fact, the 2 maps and all the assets are a personal project to fill in a gap in my experience. I wanted to design and create a few complete game maps from start to finish by myself. I would like to share the assets in the near future, but I need to research how to do that to the Ravenfield community.

Amazing work, this is one of my favourite levels. What assets did you use, if you don't mind me asking?

There's been a lot of work done to the map in the last couple of months - I've added new materials for most items, updated models, tweaked the game play quite a bit and generally been polishing the map.

I setup a new pipeline with the Beta branch of the Ravenfield dev tools and added APCs (which work better with the theme of the map). I'm hoping that some of the loading issues are fixed.

If you click during he loading screen, it'll still load as long as you don't tell the windows popup to shutdown the program.

@jollleeyy @Labina Glint I also thought I had issues with crashing, but turns out it only carshes if you click anything during the loading screen. And the load time is quite long (like 2-3 mins) so try and load it in without touching your pc and be afk for a bit and it should load.

This map causes my game to crash after hitting play button. Is this a problem that anyone else has had? I really want to try this map out!

I'll make a video eventually after I finish the map. I still need to do an art pass and tweak it with fresh eyes. I'll likely release a new version in a couple of months.

Should've made your own video for the map. The vid here is a mod showcase, and the first map isn't this one. I thought it was though, and almost decided not to download this, because the first map they showed was very trash.

This is a fantastic map! I'm really enjoying how you both need to watch out for vehicles but also infantry hiding behind rocks.

i have not tried in a bit but in october it was loading within 30 seconds with no lag on settings that can cause lag on most official maps. This actually runs better than say temple for me. I'm not running any speacial PC, just an old lenovo laptop.

How is this map performing for you? I used a double terrain - one for the dense game play area and one for the background mountains. I'm considering converterting to larger background terrain to a regular static mesh. I suspect the terrains and dramatically increasaing the load time for some reason (I'm just guessing on that), but this map takes much longer to load that my map without terrains - "South Station Assault".

Small bug though: MG jeeps appear where mounted mgs are suposed to spwan.

This map is fantastic. This feels like an official ravenfield map, and has a fallout new vegas: lonesome road feel to it. Amazing map.

Cool map, though I liked the old low poly ground textures more, still cool anyhow.

I'm starting to investigate how to script events in Unity that will work in the Ravenfield runtime (just writing a C# script in the normal way hasn't worked for me so far). When I figure this out, those rockets are blasting off!
