I wouldn't do that... Once the origin of an item (res cube) hits the height limit (65536) and you try to save the game it'll crash and delete the save file.
and had a request to make my mod and yours compatible... I'm writing to ask if this is doable from your end.. or can I copy/incorporate your code into my own mod?
And do it work with Mod Config Reborn (MCR)? (Mod Config dont work for me, and many useful mods use MCR...) If it possible - add support for MCR!
Does the mod require to start a new game?
THANKS to both authors!! Wayrocket and Jagdtiger Team work makes the dream work! :-) I Love all the work you both add to cities skylines mars edition... err umm i mean surviving mars :-)
Well, for now the workaround seems to be to simply subscribe and activate ModConfig Demo too. But I'm looking into it.
Also now the existing depots should update immediately when you change the values in ModConfig.
Mind you, both limits are purely arbitrary. As in, higher than that, I'd be afraid to walk anywhere near that tower of boxes. But I could let you stack all the way to orbit, if people actually want that kind of silliness.
Seems like the new game update messed up with ModConfig a bit, though. The recommended detection method always says ModConfig is unavailable, which caused me a bit of stomach ache. But with a bit of creative thinking, it seems to work now.
I have never used any kind of mod config, but the idea sounds cool actually. Thanks for the idea.
I guess I should look into it. Any kind of pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated, if anyone feels like lending a helping hand.
